Field Service Technician

Nordson Product Assembly, a global leader in precision dispensing, fluid management, and related technologies, is seeking a highly motivated and talented Service Technician to join our team in Sweden, preferable living in the greater Jönköping area. Role and Responsibilities  

• You install and commission Nordson equipment at customer sites 

• You carry out preventive maintenance and repair Nordson equipment when required 

• You troubleshoot technical issues and analyse faults within the customer’s production process 

• You provide user instructions and training on our systems and applications 

• You work closely with the After Market team, Sales, and Customer Project Engineers to identify opportunities for the sale of equipment, spare parts, and maintenance contracts 

• You are someone who strengthens our close‑to‑customer approach by fostering deep, long‑term partnerships — acting as a true partner rather than a supplier. 

Skills and Qualifications  

• A degree in mechatronics or electronics plus mechanical experience. A certificate in working with high voltage/wiring is required 

• At least 3-5 years of relevant work experience in the fields of electrical engineering, hydraulics, mechanics, and pneumatics. 

• Basic knowledge of PLC systems is desirable. You are also familiar with interpreting technical drawings. 

• You hold a valid driver’s license. 

• You have knowledge of MS Office. 

• You speak fluent Swedish and English. Knowledge of German, Danish, and/or Norwegian would be an advantage 

Travel  

• The job will involve a 100% of travelling in Sweden and may also involve trips to our Nordic countries, so longer business trips with overnight stays may occur.
