We’re looking for a driven Commercial Insurance Broker to join our Elite Accounts team. This isn’t just a service role; it’s a career for a high-performing broker who views themselves as the trusted advisor for their clients.

Reporting to the Practice Leader, you’ll manage a dedicated group of clients, treating every account as a holistic relationship. You’ll be responsible for providing year-round stewardship and strengthening relationships to maximize retention through optimized coverage.

    Responsibilities:
  1. Strategic Onboarding: Effectively onboarding new customers and establishing yourself as their trusted advisor from day one.
  2. The Circle of Protection: Managing an existing book of business by issuing certificates and processing endorsements for large, complex accounts.
  3. Forensic Policy Review: Carefully reviewing all new submissions and policy data for accuracy.
  4. Risk Architecture: Processing remarkets and designing risk mitigation strategies (reviewing leases, contracts, and loss controls).
  5. Year-Round Stewardship: Providing consistent value throughout the policy lifecycle, ensuring the renewal is a mere formality through proactive relationship management.
  6. Requirements:
  7. Licensing & Commercial Experience: You hold a valid broker license for your province and have 5+ years of commercial experience. Previous experience handling high-premium, complex commercial files is strongly preferred.
  8. Deep Insurance IQ: A CIP, CAIB, or CRM designation is a significant bonus. You have the technical depth to perform audits on renewals and stay ahead of legislative shifts.
  9. The Elite Mindset: You align your success with the client’s growth and act as a strategic partner rather than a vendor.
  10. Excellent Communications: You can translate complex insurance jargon into clear, professional language.
  11. Workflow Efficiency: Ability to utilize a BMS, Salesforce, or other digital tools to streamline workflows and manage high-volume client data with precision.
  12. High-Impact Collaboration: You’re a strong advocate for your clients with Underwriters and a leader of accountability within your internal team.
  13. Solution-Oriented Drive: You approach challenges with persistence and agility, consistently meeting set targets through innovative risk solutions.
  14. Exceptional Organization: You have strong prioritization skills and the flexibility to manage a diverse, high-complexity portfolio simultaneously.
  15. Company:  Zensurance
