This role is remote, must be located in Canada
Responsibilities :
Mortality/Morbidity Risk Analysis - determine appropriate underwriting requirements and assign cases to the appropriate risk category by analyzing and interpreting underwriting evidence for mortality and morbidity risk assessment
Provides technical expertise and support to client companies
Demonstrates an ability to work productively in high pressure environment and effectively and proactively manage challenging situations.
Act independently within specified authority.
Actively supports the departmental management by providing input, assisting in training, leading team discussions, participating in projects, and being a positive contributor to the resolution of technical or client issues
Contribute to a positive working environment with teamwork and a spirit of innovation
Participates in RGA events and industry activities and fosters relationships with key clients
Qualifications :
College diploma / University degree or equivalent working experience
Minimum of 6 years of individual life underwriting experience including experience with substandard business, medical and financial underwriting
Service-oriented attitude with strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with our internal and external partners
Strong communication skills, written and verbal
Bilingual French/English (oral and written) is an asset. English is required as we need to communicate orally and in writing with a predominantly English-speaking clientele based outside of Quebec.

Compensation Range:
$87,500.00 - $109,400.00 AnnualBase pay varies depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and market location. In addition, RGA provides an annual bonus plan that includes all roles and some positions are eligible for participation in our long-term equity incentive plan. RGA also maintains a full range of health, retirement, and other employee benefits.
