    Job Description:

    The Deployment Workstream Lead – Product Management Analyst is accountable for leading and managing a key domain—Technical, Clinical/Functional, or Site Deployment—within a large-scale Electronic Health Record (EHR) system implementation.

    This role drives planning, execution, coordination, and oversight of assigned workstreams, ensuring alignment with program goals, timelines, budgets, and compliance requirements. The Deployment Workstream Lead – Product Management Analyst serves as the primary point of contact for the workstream and facilitates collaboration among technical teams, clinical partners, site leadership, vendor organizations, and senior management. The position oversees all phases of deployment, including pre-deployment preparationgo-live execution, and post-deployment optimization, contributing to high-impact EHR transformations that improve healthcare delivery and patient outcomes.

    This role is remote with 25% travel to nationwide VA sites.

    Key Responsibilities

    Deployment Leadership & People Management

    • Lead operational execution of assigned workstream activities across multiple deployment phases and locations.
    • Provide direction and coordination to cross-functional contributors supporting technical, clinical, or site-level deployment tasks.
    • Support team alignment, accountability, and readiness throughout the deployment lifecycle.

    Large-Scale Program Management & Strategic Planning

    • Coordinate planning and execution to ensure workstream alignment with overall deployment strategy, schedules, and resource plans.
    • Manage dependencies, risks, and critical path activities for a successful multi-site rollout.
    • Ensure compliance with organizational, regulatory, and security standards.

    Risk and Issue Management

    • Identify, document, escalate, and resolve risks and issues impacting workstream activities.
    • Participate in and support triage and incident management workflows, forums, and timelines.

    Stakeholder Management

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for workstream communication across internal teams, client stakeholders, vendor partners, and executive leadership.
    • Build, maintain, and strengthen trusted relationships to ensure consistent coordination and seamless deployment.

    Executive-Level Communication

    • Deliver concise and accurate updates to leaders and executives, highlighting progress, risks, mitigations, and recommendations.
    • Prepare and present materials including slide decks, data summaries, written documentation, and dashboard reports.

    Metrics and Reporting

    • Develop, maintain, and distribute dashboards, metrics, and workstream reports.
    • Ensure accurate monitoring of progress, performance, and readiness indicators.

    Technical & Operational Tools

    • Utilize MS Office Suite—Excel, Project, PowerPoint—to support planning, reporting, and communication needs.

    Minimum Skills & Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of progressive electronic health records (EHR) support outcome-based functional capability of an assigned product management workstream across any phase of EHR implementation
    • 3+ years of direct project management and stakeholder engagement experience supporting EHR activities for a software as a service (SaaS) managed EHR solution
    • Proven experience working in a clinical environment supporting project management
    • Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills
    • Must be able to obtain a Position of Trust and successfully pass a thorough Government background screening process requiring the completion of detailed forms and fingerprinting 

    Preferred Skills & Qualifications

    • Experience with Oracle Health EHR (or similar EHR platforms)
    • Prior experience in healthcare IT or EHR deployment programs
    • Demonstrated expertise within one of the key workstream domains (Technical, Clinical/Functional, or Site Deployment)
    • Familiarity with clinical workflows and healthcare delivery environments

    The likely salary range for this position is $131,750 - $178,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
