Role Overview
We are seeking a strategic and technically fluent Enterprise Data & Analytics Solution Sales Specialist to drive pipeline, revenue, and platform adoption for our data, analytics, and AI solutions across complex Commercial US West accounts.
This role exists at the intersection of business strategy, data architecture, and enterprise selling. Operating within a highly multi-matrixed organization, the specialist will collaborate across Sales, Product, Industry GTM, Engineering, Customer Success, and Partner teams to shape transformational deals, align stakeholders, and accelerate customer outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Data & Analytics Solution Leadership
- Own solution strategy for enterprise data platforms, analytics, AI/ML, and data governance offerings across assigned accounts or regions.
- Partner with Account Executives to engage strategic customers and position data and analytics as a core enabler of digital transformation.
- Drive value-based selling by connecting business outcomes to modern data platform capabilities such as data fabric, data mesh, real-time analytics, and operational intelligence.
Multi-Matrix Orchestration
- Operate as a solution overlay across a complex internal ecosystem including:
- Field Sales & Account Executives
- Solution Engineers
- Industry GTM & Vertical Specialists
- Product & Platform Leaders
- Data Scientists & AI Specialists
- Customer Success & Professional Services
- Influence and align stakeholders without direct authority across business units with shared or overlapping revenue targets.
- Coordinate technical and business resources to drive consistent execution across multi-product, cross-BU opportunities.
Data Strategy & Executive Engagement
- Lead strategic conversations with C-level and senior executive stakeholders on topics such as:
- Enterprise data strategy and modernization
- Data governance, quality, and trust
- AI-readiness and analytics transformation
- Data operating model evolution (e.g., centralized vs federated, mesh vs fabric)
- Help customers define roadmaps for scaling data usage, maximizing ROI, and aligning data strategy with business priorities.
Deal Shaping & Pipeline Development
- Shape and influence large, complex data and analytics deals by:
- Identifying high-impact use cases
- Mapping value to business KPIs
- Aligning architecture and solution scope
- Defending commercial position in competitive scenarios
- Drive pipeline through industry events, executive briefings, workshops, and targeted campaigns.
Product Feedback & Field Enablement
- Provide structured field feedback into product and go-to-market strategy teams.
- Develop solution plays, messaging, and enablement materials to scale success across the field.
- Support internal enablement and training for AEs and Solution Engineers on data and analytics offerings.
