    About

PeopleGrove builds SAAS that helps higher education institutions support students and graduates at every stage of their journey — from experiential learning to career outcomes. Our Engagement Hub connects students, alumni, and staff through mentorship, community, and career networks; and gives platform administrators the tools to run community at scale.

    The Role

We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to drive the strategy for administrator experience of the Engagement Hub — the tools our clients use every day to run mentorship, community, and engagement programs.

Your goal will be resolve persistent admin pain-points, close the loop on client-raised needs quickly and visibly, and then go further — by building a roadmap that would automate the workflows admins shouldn't have to run by hand and increase product stickiness,

    What You'll Do
  1. Own the admin experience roadmap for the Engagement Hub: Discovery through delivery, balancing client commitments, strategic bets, and engineering capacity
  2. Resolve persistent platform admin pain-points: identify the workflows that cost admins the most time, quantify them, and ship fixes that measurably reduce administrative effort. Build agents to automate and simplify the workflows.
  3. Run the client-request intake process end to end: You'll triage, prioritise, set expectations with customer success for urgent client requests, and keep resolution timely and predictable.
  4. Partner closely with CS and Support: They are your highest-volume signal source; turn recurring asks and escalations into product decisions rather than one-off fixes
  5. Serve as a key voice in go-to-market readiness — working with CS and marketing on positioning, release communications, and client onboarding
  6. Collaborate with the VP of Product on annual and quarterly planning, contributing to roadmap strategy and resource prioritization
  7. What We're Looking For

  8. 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years owning a complex B2B SaaS product
  9. Demonstrated experience owning admin, back-office, or operator-facing tooling — you've made someone's daily job materially easier and can show how you measured it.
  10. Experience running a structured intake and prioritization process for client-raised requests, working directly with CS/Support/Sales, and saying no gracefully.
  11. Strong operating instincts in a high-volume, interrupt-driven backlog — you can hold a strategic roadmap and a triage queue at the same time without dropping either
  12. Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity and drive clarity — you can move from messy problem space to crisp requirements
  13. Hands-on curiosity about applied AI — you've shipped, prototyped, or seriously evaluated LLM-powered features and have real opinions on where automation earns trust and where it doesn't
  14. Strong cross-functional collaboration skills; you know how to influence without authority
  15. Comfort working in a distributed, async-first environment with a globally distributed team
  16. Curiosity, rigour, and a bias toward outcomes over output
  17. Experience with Jira, Confluence, Mixpanel, or similar product ops tooling
  18. Nice to Have

  19. Experience with higher education, alumni relations, mentorship, or community/networking platforms
  20. Experience designing human-in-the-loop or approval-gated automation
  21. Prior experience at a growth-stage edtech or vertical SaaS company
  22. Why PeopleGrove

  23. Mission-driven work with real impact on student and alumni outcomes
  24. Small, senior team — your work shapes the product meaningfully
  25. Fully remote with a collaborative, low-ego culture
  26. Competitive salary, equity, and benefits
  27. We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses and identifying potential inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials based on available information. These tools assist our recruitment team but do not replace human judgment. Final hiring decisions are ultimately made by humans.
