We are seeking a Digital and Automation Technical Project Manager with experience in healthcare IT to help drive the adoption of innovative solutions across hospitals, health systems, and clinical networks. If you enjoy solving complex operational challenges and have a strong understanding of HIT systems, workflows, and compliance needs, this is the role for you.

    Position Overview

The Digital and Automation Technical Project Manager plays a hybrid role across pre‑sales, project delivery, and solution implementation for healthcare IT and digital transformation initiatives. Acting as both a technical advisor during sales cycles and a hands‑on implementation lead post‑sale, this role ensures solutions are not only well‑designed, but successfully delivered, adopted, and optimized in real‑world clinical environments.

This position works closely with sales, product, implementation, and customer stakeholders to translate customer needs into executable project plans, guide deployments from kickoff through go‑live, and support long‑term value realization.

    Key Responsibilities

    PreSales & Solution Design Responsibilities

    • Partner with account managers and sales teams to support discovery, solution design, and technical validation during presales engagements

    • Lead or contribute to technical discovery sessions, workflow assessments, and stakeholder discussions to understand customer goals and constraints

    • Translate clinical, operational, and IT requirements into practical, implementable solution designs with clear scope and delivery considerations

    • Support product demonstrations, RFP/RFI responses, proposals, and Statements of Work (SOW) with a strong focus on feasibility, timelines, and dependencies

    • Act as the bridge between sales and delivery by setting realistic expectations for implementation approach, effort, and outcomes

    Project Management & Implementation Responsibilities

    • Lead or support the endtoend implementation of digital and automation solutions, from project kickoff through golive and stabilization

    • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, and resource coordination, ensuring alignment across internal and customer teams

    • Serve as the primary technical and delivery contact for customers during implementation, guiding configuration, integration, testing, and deployment activities

    • Deliver customer training, knowledge transfer, and bestpractice guidance to support adoption and operational readiness

    • Identify and proactively manage risks, dependencies, and change requests, escalating as needed to keep projects on track

    • Support postgolive activities, including optimization, enhancements, and identification of followup opportunities

    Customer & Internal Collaboration

    • Act as a trusted advisor and customer advocate, maintaining strong relationships throughout the sales and delivery lifecycle

    • Collaborate with product management, engineering, and support teams to relay customer feedback and implementation insights

    • Support continuous improvement by contributing to implementation standards, templates, and best practices

    • Identify opportunities for expansion, optimization, or additional automation based on customer usage and outcomes

    Qualifications & Experience (Reframed)

    • 3+ years of experience in healthcare IT implementation, project management, technical consulting, or solution delivery, with exposure to presales activities

    • Strong understanding of healthcare IT environments, including EHRs, integrations, workflows, and regulatory considerations

    • Handson experience managing or supporting technology deployments and customer onboarding

    • Ability to translate highlevel requirements into structured project plans and executable solutions

    • Comfortable engaging with clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders at varying levels

    • Familiarity with interoperability standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR) and digital health platforms is an asset

What This Role Brings to the Team

This role ensures continuity from what is sold to what is delivered, creating clarity between presales commitments and implementation realities. By combining technical presales expertise with strong project and implementation ownership, this position helps drive successful deployments, satisfied customers, and scalable growth.
