    The Opportunity

    This position provides financial services product sales and expertise (e.g., Debit, Prepaid, Credit, ATM, Contact Center Services & Solutions, eCommerce, Mobile, Integration, EMV/contactless, etc.) and will serve as the liaison between the Solutions Consulting team and all applicable areas of the company. The main focus of this role is to support our client facing teams in the field by presenting Velera solutions to a Financial Institution audience. This position will collaborate with the Card Solutions team members, leadership and support teams such as Account Management, Product, Implementations, ITS, Marketing and Analytics. This position works with these teams to build Velera’s market position by marshaling and coordinating both expertise and offerings to present outstanding solutions for Velera-Owners.

    Day in the Life

    • Build and lead a solution sales pipeline by collaborating with Account Management and reaching out directly to potential prospects (solution sales).
    • Act as a liaison between Product and Account Management to develop, deepen, and advance Velera’s account and business relationships.
    • Collaborate with Velera support teams (e.g., ITS, Product, Implementations, Marketing, and Analytics) to support FI Experience business units in general, and Account Management teams in particular, to answer questions, prepare and deliver onsite presentations, and provide other marketing/sales support as needed to drive and close business and improve relationships.
    • Serve as a resource for Velera Account Management to address inquiries and educational opportunities pertaining to Velera solutions.
    • Proactively pursue and stay up-to-date on competitive and product intelligence information, including major competitors, industry updates, product launches and trends.
    • Demonstrate sales acumen through active listening, intelligent questioning and using internal and industry relationships to help Account Management position solutions to Velera FIs.
    • Demonstrate Sales acumen through capacity to read the room, match the needs of the audience to the delivered content and pivot conversations based on the needs of the FI.
    • Establish and maintain effective communication with prospective FIs through appropriate contact channels; identify challenges throughout sales / lifecycle process that need to be overcome in order to successfully implement a commitment.
    • Achieve year-end revenue target(s) established at the beginning of the fiscal year as advised.
    • Act as a problem-solving partner for Velera internal partners.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. 
    • Five (5) years experience in banking or credit union card processing with product line of business expertise required. Product training and demonstration experience required. Card payments and issuing experience preferred.  Sales automation software experience preferred.

    Pay Equity

    $84,900.00 - $108,200.00

    Actual Pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
