    GFiber is expanding into new markets and the Inventory Control Manager Program Manager (PgM) plays a key part in supporting that expansion strategy. This role will be responsible for developing, deploying and supporting ongoing operations for the inventory control system to approximately 90 warehouse locations in GFiber Markets across the US.

    Role Description

    As the Inventory Control Program Manager, you will be part of a dynamic Supply Chain Management (SCM) Team. Working together with the SCM and market teams you will be on point for the successful deployment and continuous operation of a SAP based Inventory Management System (IMS). This system will encompass ~90 locations housing a significant amount of inventory. This role will coordinate a ground up operation that will be a critical part of achieving our current operational and future growth goals. While working together with numerous cross functional teams fostering accountability and maintaining an open culture of giving and receiving feedback will be essential. During the deployment phase a high level of travel will be required.

GFiber is expanding in 6 states and growing its footprint in its existing markets as an industry leader in Fiber technologies and services. The role also lends to working with numerous business teams in a fast paced environment.

    In this role, you'll:

    • Configure the Inventory Management System (IMS) to meet business objectives, and develop an IMS roll out plan for all GFiber markets to include documented training and procedure material to establish expectations for those involved.
    • Work in coordination with each market to turn up the IMS system on a site by site basis.
    • Develop a monitoring program that provides a method to track procedural adherence, correct exceptions, and adapt the program as needed.
    • Develop comprehensive reports to effectively manage the business by tracking inventory control targets and reconciling issued inventory to specific projects.
    • Serve as an escalation point for internal stakeholders while working with business stakeholders to define requirements.

    At a minimum we'd like you to have:

    • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, a similar field of study, or equivalent practical experience.
    • 8 years experience both working with inventory control and working in Program Management.
    • 8 years experience with supply chain principles.
    • 8 years experience with SAP (SaaS) and IMS software.
    • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time domestically.

    It's preferred if you have:

    • 10 years of experience working with inventory control and Program Management.
    • Demonstrated leadership abilities to include managing through influence, communication and leading cross-functional initiatives.
    • Data analysis skills to identify trends and patterns.
    • Inventory control process improvement experience.
    • Experience with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI).
    • Familiarity with telecommunications inventory challenges and regulations.
    • Experience with cycle counting and inventory audits.

    The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $136,000 - $198,000 + bonus + cash award + benefits. As pay varies by location, your recruiter will share more about the specific salary range for your targeted location during the hiring process.
