Job Summary
The Lead Consultant, Strategic Operations & Execution maintains a broad perspective and deep understanding of AMN’s offerings, sales processes, and business platforms. This role provides leadership and direction in the development, execution, and integration of initiatives across a specific Practice, while also partnering on Division-wide projects.
The position leads key initiatives across reporting, sales productivity, and technology optimization—capabilities that are critical to scaling the organization. By driving improvements in sales cycle time, deal conversion rates, and overall seller productivity, this role directly contributes to accelerating revenue growth and supporting AMN’s aggressive performance goals.
The Lead Consultant defines competitive differentiation, delivers actionable competitive intelligence, and serves as a trusted advisor to AMN and divisional leadership by translating strategy into disciplined execution.
Job Responsibilities
Leads Division-level strategic projects and initiatives, ensuring coordination across Practices and functional partners
Collaborates with Marketing and Practice leaders to develop thought leadership content and strategic messaging
Partners with leadership in the development and execution of business strategies, plans, and operational initiatives
Acts as a trusted advisor to AMN and divisional leadership, supporting both strategic analysis and execution mechanics
Defines and maintains competitive differentiation by capturing, analyzing, and communicating competitive intelligence
Improves sales effectiveness and productivity by delivering fact-based insights into competitors’ offerings, positioning, and go-to-market strategies
Briefs Product teams on competitor technologies and capabilities, and informs Marketing/PR teams on competitive messaging and positioning considerations
Serves as an internal consultant and project management leader, ensuring effective sequencing, alignment, and delivery of workstreams
Leverages a strong understanding of data sources and systems to support reporting, analytics, and ad hoc insight requests
Supports initiatives focused on technology optimization, reporting enhancement, and sales productivity improvements
Leads process improvement initiatives, identifying operational gaps, implementing solutions, and conducting regular review cycles to ensure sustained effectiveness

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree plus 7–10 years of relevant experience OR
High School Diploma/GED plus 11–14 years of relevant experience
Additional Experience
Experience in healthcare and/or staffing industries
Project management experience leading cross-functional initiatives
Prior experience in consulting, strategic operations, sales enablement, or revenue operations

Final pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location.
