Job Summary
The Interim Executive Recruiter partners directly with Executive Search leadership to execute high-priority healthcare searches. This role is responsible for building candidate pipelines, sourcing passive talent, conducting executive-level screening, and delivering qualified candidate slates quickly and consistently.
This is a high-performance, metrics-driven role focused on search execution and pipeline development, ideal for a recruiter with a strong background in healthcare and/or executive search environments.
Key Responsibilities
Search Execution & Candidate Delivery
- Partner with Executive Search Leaders to support interim and retained healthcare searches
- Identify, engage, and screen top-tier candidates for leadership roles within healthcare systems, hospitals, and related organizations
- Deliver qualified candidates within 48 hours of search launch
- Develop and present candidate slates aligned with client needs and leadership competencies
Sourcing & Pipeline Development
- Proactively source candidates using Jobscience, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and AI-driven tools (e.g., telemetry platforms)
- Build and maintain continuous, specialty-aligned candidate pipelines (e.g., Med-Surg, hospital leadership)
- Leverage creative sourcing strategies, competitor mapping, and referral generation to identify passive talent
- Maintain a strong network of healthcare professionals to support current and future searches
Candidate Assessment & Relationship Management
- Conduct in-depth screening interviews, evaluating both technical qualifications and leadership capabilities
- Assess candidate fit beyond the resume by identifying intangible strengths and alignment with client needs
- Maintain active engagement with candidates throughout the search process
Collaboration & Process Optimization
- Partner with Talent Acquisition Specialists and recruiting teams to support search delivery
- Utilize data, tools, and technology to improve sourcing efficiency and candidate quality
- Provide feedback and insights to search leadership on talent trends, pipelines, and market dynamics
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience recruiting for acute care hospitals, health systems, or clinical leadership roles
- Background in interim or retained executive search
- Familiarity with:
- Jobscience or similar ATS platforms
- AI sourcing tools and recruiting technologies

Work Environment / Physical Requirements
- Work is performed in an office/home office environment.

Pay Rate
$23.25 - $29.00 Hourly
Final pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location.
