    The Opportunity:

    Ensemble Health Partners is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Senior Director, Operational Strategic Initiatives to lead high-impact operational and technology initiatives supporting Patient Access and Pre-Access functions across the organization.

    This role serves as a key leader within our Operational Strategic Initiatives team, driving the implementation of innovative technology solutions that enhance operational performance, improve the patient experience, and support organizational goals related to denials reduction, point-of-service collections, and cost-to-collect optimization.

    The Senior Director will oversee a portfolio of enterprise-wide projects and collaborate closely with operational leaders, technology partners, vendors, and client stakeholders to ensure successful execution and timely implementation of critical initiatives.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead strategic operational and technology projects from planning through implementation and go-live.
    • Manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder alignment.
    • Drive implementation efforts involving insurance verification, coverage discovery, fax management, call center technologies, and other patient access solutions.
    • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to optimize operational workflows and improve front-end revenue cycle performance.
    • Monitor and influence key operational metrics including denials reduction, point-of-service collections, labor efficiency, and cost-to-collect improvements.
    • Identify project risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
    • Provide leadership and direction to assigned team members, including oversight of one analyst role.
    • Collaborate with senior leaders, technology vendors, and client representatives to support enterprise-wide operational excellence initiatives.
    • Serve as a subject matter expert and strategic advisor on front-end technology and operational transformation efforts.

    What You'll Bring

    Required Qualifications

    • Significant experience within healthcare revenue cycle operations, with a strong focus on Patient Access and/or Pre-Access functions.
    • Proven project management experience leading complex operational or technology implementations.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities and firm deadlines.
    • Strong organizational, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
    • Experience working independently and driving results with minimal oversight.
    • Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across multiple levels of the organization.
    • Experience working in a remote environment while maintaining productivity and accountability.
    • Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience working with revenue cycle technology vendors such as Waystar, Experian, or similar organizations.
    • Familiarity with Ensemble systems, processes, and client operations.
    • CRCR certification or willingness to obtain certification after hire.
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

    This position pays between

    $117,400 - $176,100 annually
