About the Role:

CrowdStrike is seeking an engineering manager to lead our talented cloud engineering team within the mobile and identity protection product space.

In this role you will lead an existing team of 4 engineers and be responsible for cloud services that underpin our highly successful Falcon for Mobile and FalconID products. FalconID has just been launched and we have an exciting and demanding roadmap of innovative features to deliver. You’ll have a chance to shape the product and help disrupt the industry by solving security challenges that help protect our customers from adversaries.
Our cloud services are critical for our customers and you’ll be responsible for ensuring our services high availability, which includes on-call duty. We are looking for a thought leader who thrives in an environment where there are many things to balance. This role is high octane!

Our team is remote across Europe and east coast America and you’ll be working closely with peers in the wider identity team in Tel Aviv.

What You'll Do:

• Lead, mentor and grow a team of cloud engineers, driving product vision and roadmap
• Contribute individually - hands-on with code and architecture
• Lead backend engineering efforts from rapid prototypes to large-scale applications across CrowdStrike products
• Leverage and build cloud-based systems to detect targeted attacks and automate cyber threat intelligence production at a global scale
• Brainstorm, define and build collaboratively with members across multiple teams
• Drive technical direction and make architectural decisions for the team
• Work in a startup-like environment with a small fast-moving team
• Constantly re-evaluate our product to improve architecture, user experience, performance and stability
• Be given the autonomy to own your work in a high trust environment

Tech Stack:

Go (Golang) ; AWS/GCP/OCI; Kubernetes; Kafka; ElasticSearch / OpenSearch; Postgres; Redis

What You'll Need:

• 8+ years of experience in cloud and systems programming (Preferably Go, alternatively Python / NodeJS / Java / C#)
• 3+ years experience leading engineering teams
• Experience working with remote teams and individuals while ensuring agility and code velocity
• Experience with the design of distributed systems, microservices architectures, and event-based architectures for runtime systems at scale
• Ownership, responsibility and professionalism
• Strong cross-group collaboration and interpersonal communication skills working with a variety of roles including engineering, product management, support and sales engineering
• Cloud in-depth knowledge (at least one of: AWS / GCP / OCI)
  BS or MS in Computer Science or related engineering discipline
• Experience with Docker / Kubernetes or similar
• Ability to learn quickly and independently
• Experience with AI-powered developer tools
