Senior Salesforce Developer / Technical Architect
CACI is seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Developer / Technical Architect to join our dedicated team, supporting a large Federal client.
In this role, you will perform hands-on development as well as provide senior technical expertise for a complex Salesforce environment. You are a highly experienced Salesforce professional who can write and review code while also providing architectural insight, technical expertise, and an independent technical perspective. You will serve as a Salesforce SME, helping evaluate technical design, manage development standards, identify risks, and assist in guiding the long-term evolution of the platform.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain complex Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, Flows, and Salesforce APIs.
- Lead and contribute to solution architecture and technical design.
- Review code and technical designs for quality, security, scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- Provide an independent technical perspective on architectural decisions and respectfully challenge proposed approaches when appropriate.
- Design, develop, and troubleshoot integrations between Salesforce, ERP, and other enterprise systems.
- Establish and promote Salesforce development, architecture, and integration standards.
- Identify technical debt, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Evaluate the technical impact of Salesforce and connected applications upgrades and platform changes.
- Mentor developers and provide technical guidance across the project team.
- Support technical planning, troubleshooting, and long-term platform strategy.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Seven or more years of software development or related experience.
- 5 or more years of hands-on Salesforce development experience with progressively increasing technical responsibility.
- Strong hands-on experience with Apex, LWC, SOQL/SOSL, Salesforce APIs, automation, security, and integrations.
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing complex Salesforce solutions.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data modeling, integration patterns, security, scalability, and governor limits.
- Experience with source control, CI/CD, and Salesforce deployment practices.
- Experience conducting code reviews and evaluating technical designs.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Agile Scrum SDLC methodology.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible to obtain a Public Trust clearance
Desired:
- Experience with enterprise ERP integrations.
- Experience in mentoring Salesforce development teams.
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer, Salesforce Certified Application Architect, or other relevant Salesforce certification.

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
