    We're looking for a board-certified physician with broad clinical expertise and a passion for improving healthcare access and quality. You'll provide care to patients of all ages across a wide range of conditions, maintain accurate and current patient records, and work collaboratively with our provider and support teams. You should have at least 3 years of post-residency experience in high-volume Urgent Care or Primary Care settings.     This role will report to the Medical Director of Urgent Care.
    Responsibilities:
  1. Perform age-appropriate history and virtual examinations, evaluate, diagnose, recommend treatment plan and document findings appropriately and timely
  2. Deliver high quality patient care while maintaining safety
  3. Document medical information of patients and review patient history at each visit
  4. Request consultation or referral with other health care providers when appropriate
  5. Counsel and educate patients
  6. Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed
  7. Evaluate, triage and manage pediatric and adult patients for acute care, and have experience with chronic disease management and mental health conditions
  8. Actively maintain knowledge of current medical research and trends
  9. Provide administrative support or cross-coverage for reviewing laboratory test results
  10. Required Qualifications
  11. Completion of a 3-year Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine residency
  12. 3+ years post residency experience in a fast paced Urgent Care or Primary Care outpatient setting
  13. Active ABMS or AOA Board Certification in Family Medicine or dual boarded Internal Medicine + Pediatrics
  14. Completion of U.S. Medical Licensing Examination
  15. Eligible for the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLCC) is required
  16. Active and unrestricted state medical license in at least one state; residing in an IMLC state is required
  17. Experience and comfort providing care for all ages, newborn to adult populations
  18. Ability to function within an integrated medical practice
  19. Extensive breadth of clinical expertise
  20. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  21. Demonstrable proficiency with technology
  22. Not under current exclusion or sanction by any state or federal health care program, including Medicare or Medicaid, and is not identified as an “excluded person” by the Office of Inspector General of the Department of Health and Human Services or the General Service Administration (GSA), or reprimanded or sanctioned by Medicare
  23. Must maintain Medicare active status
  24. Preferred Qualifications:
  25. Multistate licensure
  26. Telemedicine or virtual care experience with video based visits
  27. Experience with Athena EMR
  28. Experience and interest in supervising Nurse practitioners
  29. Physical/Cognitive Requirements:
  30. Prompt and regular attendance at assigned work location.
  31. Ability to remain seated in a stationary position for prolonged periods.
  32. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate keyboard, computer and other office-related equipment.
  33. No heavy lifting is expected, though occasional exertion of about 20 lbs. of force (e.g., lifting a computer / laptop) may be required.
  34. Ability to interact with leadership, employees, and members in an appropriate manner.
  35. Shift Obligations
  36. 1,560 annual hours - 60 hours of work per pay period (every two-weeks)
  37. Weeknights: 8 hour shifts between 11p–6a clinician's timezone
  38. Every other weekend: two 8-hour shifts (Sat & Sun, 11p–6a clinician's timezone)
  39. Holiday shifts: 3 per calendar year
