Where you Come In:
The Territory Business Manager - Vic Central is responsible for driving the growth and success of the Diabetes Division within the allocated territory. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager VIC/TAS, this role focuses on promoting the Diabetes Division product portfolio across both public and private healthcare sectors.
The role requires strong commercial acumen, the ability to build and maintain trusted relationships, and the capability to deliver high‑quality education, training, and support to healthcare professionals and consumers.
- Drive business performance and achieve sales objectives within the assigned territory.
- Promote and support the use of insulin pump therapy (IPT), continuous glucose monitoring (CGM), associated consumables, and other technologies within the portfolio.
- Deliver high-quality product education, training, demonstrations, and on-territory support to healthcare professionals and consumers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including endocrinologists, physicians, GPs, diabetes educators, allied health professionals, and key opinion leaders.
- Analyse sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity, and implement strategic initiatives in collaboration with the Regional Sales Manager.
- Develop, present, and execute territory business plans, adjusting strategies as required to achieve objectives.
- Manage key accounts effectively while identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
- Represent AMSL/Dexcom at local, regional, and national meetings, conferences, trade shows, and diabetes-related events.
- Coordinate and manage designated Diabetes Division projects, including tracking progress and outcomes.
- Ensure efficient territory management through effective planning, time management, and responsible business expenditure.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and other Territory Business Managers to support overall business growth and customer excellence.
Travel Requirements
- Extensive local travel within the Vic Central territory, including metropolitan Melbourne and surrounding regional areas.
- Interstate travel as required for conferences, meetings, and business events.
- Territory coverage planned based on business potential and relevant market data.
Functional and Business Knowledge
- Demonstrated expertise within the field, with the ability to resolve complex issues through sound judgment and creative problem-solving.
- Proven capability in managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering successful outcomes.
- Recognised as a subject matter specialist with strong internal and external networks.

Experience and Education:
- Minimum of five years’ experience in a related role; diabetes or medical device experience preferred.
- Healthcare or science-based background.
- Valid Australian driver’s license.
- Unrestricted work rights within Australia.
- Residency within the Vic Central territory or within a reasonable commuting distance.
