    Our Advertising Product & Technology team is building the next generation advertising platform for audio and video at Spotify. We create thoughtful, non-interruptive ad experiences that power free listening for hundreds of millions of fans around the world. From display to video, our work lives across some of the most highly trafficked surfaces in the app—helping connect listeners, creators, and advertisers in meaningful ways.

    What You'll Do:
  1. Build and evolve ad experiences that allow millions of listeners to enjoy Spotify for free
  2. Collaborate with engineers across Android, iOS, backend, and web, along with product, design, and data partners to ship impactful features
  3. Write clean, maintainable code that scales across teams and products
  4. Contribute to the technical direction, architecture, and best practices for Android development within Advertising
  5. Improve app performance, reliability, and user experience across ad surfaces
  6. Help shape reusable components and libraries that support fast, consistent development
  7. Contribute to a collaborative, inclusive, and autonomous team environment
  8. Who You Are:
  9. You know how to write clear, idiomatic Kotlin or Java and build maintainable Android applications
  10. You are experienced with modern Android frameworks and development tools
  11. You have a strong understanding of Android architecture patterns and API design
  12. You care about code quality, performance, and delivering polished user experiences
  13. You understand how mobile applications connect with backend systems end-to-end
  14. You have shipped at least one app to the Google Play Store or have a project you can walk us through
  15. You value collaboration and contribute to a positive, inclusive team environment
  16. You have 2+ years of experience building Android applications
