The PITCH

We are Creators, creative-industry rogues, Instagram-story lovers, community managers, and #FYP regulars. We are not just on the Internet; we are creating the stuff the Internet wants to see. Whether that’s a viral TikTok video or the latest Twitter meme, we’re passionate storytellers for our brands and the people we do it with. We move so fast and make so much good content. So, we need more folks just like us, who can come up with compelling content ideas and create them! We’re looking for the unconventional, less obvious, unseasoned (or over-seasoned) creative pros, but above all - passionate makers and culture shakers.

Want in? We love dedicated video and design creators, subversive artists and illustrators, obsessive meme makers, and we don’t care if you’re fresh to the workforce or working on your third act. What’s your hustle? Documentarian? DJ? Sports junkie? Fashionista? Blogger? Vlogger? Redditor? Are you an Insta-fiend? An unabashed TikToker? Or both? We’re here for all of it... Just as long as everyday you love coming up with insightful and relevant content ideas and have the skills to make them.

Want in? We’re looking for a curator of everything that’s cool in Hong Kong. A creator with an eye of showing off to the world, the unhinged and undiscovered parts of your world, to the world. The people. The places. The possibilities. A storyteller whose canvas is vertical. You must be able to work independently

Are you based in Hong Kong? Geeking the creative content-driven world in the advertising agency in the Hong Kong market? Live and breathe Social Media? Do you wanna geek out on the world of media and creative advertising agency? If yes, we could be meant to be --- so keep reading!

Here’s where you come in.

You need to be an HK-based content creator / aspiring influencer. Which means:

• You have a strong platform presence. Active on multiple social media platforms, including Instagram, YouTube, and X, where you share content and engage with a community.
• Bonus if you have a big following. You can also be in the early stages of building your community but have already garnered a small but dedicated group of supporters. Your channel has potential to become a hub for your people’s interests, passion, and sense of community.
• You can engage with the audience, responding to comments and DMs.
• Able to research, conceptualise and create content independently. Comfortable behind and in front of the camera.
• You are based in Hong Kong and have deep knowledge and appreciation for the city.
• You fully embrace Hong Kong’s pace, culture, and energy. You know the ins and outs of the city, always on top of the latest trends and happenings in the market.
• Your content can appeal to viewers across the globe, serving as a virtual tour of Hong Kong, showcasing its rich culture, vibrant neighborhoods, and hidden gems.
• You also…
• Must speak and write well in English. Can understand Cantonese
• Can work on Adobe After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop (or any other software you’re comfortable to push out the best content out there)
• Bonus if you have some background in communications, marketing or digital media

Here’s the gig.
The work involves:

• Creating impactful content to drive business results for one of VaynerX’s brands
• Honing your design, video editing, and blurb-writing skills utilizing standard industry software and social platforms
• Sharing strong, nuanced insights about Hong Kong
• Collaborating with our creative and strategy teams. Wrangling and rolling with your teammates to service rapid turnaround times, capture trending moments, and deliver and receive feedback, all while keeping a clear, enthusiastic, and proactive attitude towards content creation

Think “lab” and not “agency”. We get excited about solving business problems, not creating advertising for the sake of making advertising. Our entrepreneurship DNA runs deep. We’re willing to break rules, try new things, and test hypotheses if it means better understanding our craft. It’s fun!
