  2. Hands-on production experience with Svelte (or SvelteKit), including building reusable components and managing component state and reactivity.
  3. Working proficiency in React, Vue — enough to read, maintain, debug, and extend existing code in both frameworks. You won't need to be an expert in either, but you should be comfortable navigating both codebases.
  4. Strong fundamentals in modern JavaScript (ES2020+); comfort with TypeScript or willingness to ramp up quickly.
  5. Solid HTML, CSS, and responsive design skills — including familiarity with modern layout techniques (Flexbox, Grid) and CSS preprocessors or utility frameworks.
  6. Experience consuming and integrating with REST or GraphQL APIs, including handling async state, errors, and edge cases gracefully.
  7. Qualifications
  8. Work and Lead a small team that owns, builds, and innovates on major new and existing product features
  9. Coordinate with team management and quality assurance personnel on releases of new features
  10. 100% remote work within the United States
  11. Familiarity with frontend testing tools (Playwright, Jest, Vitest, Cypress, or similar) and a habit of writing tests alongside features.
  12. Working knowledge of Git and modern software development workflows: code review, CI/CD, branching, and Agile/Kanban delivery.
  13. Demonstrated attention to UI/UX quality, accessibility (WCAG basics), and frontend performance.
  14. Ability to work remotely and independently within the United States, and to collaborate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
  15. Willingness to learn our users' challenges and understand how your work directly affects them.
  16. B.S. in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  17. Nice to haves:
  18. C# / .NET experience, or familiarity with reading and integrating against a .NET-based application backend.
  19. Backend development experience — building and maintaining APIs, services, or database-backed business logic alongside frontend work.
  20. Experience with component libraries, design systems, or building shared UI infrastructure used by multiple teams.
  21. Familiarity with state management patterns at scale (Svelte stores, Redux, Zustand, React Query, Context patterns).
  22. Exposure to cloud-hosted environments (AWS) and deployment tooling (Octopus, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar).
  23. Familiarity with the legal tech domain or other workflow-heavy SaaS products.
