    Job Description

    Position Overview
We are seeking a high-performing Account Executive to join our DACH-L team, focusing on Public Safety and Commercial Customers in Germany.

In this role, you will engage with some of our largest and most strategic customers, including public safety agencies and critical infrastructure clients, to position and sell our comprehensive suite of solutions. This includes critical communication, video, and software solutions, along with accompanying services. You will identify and develop new opportunities while managing long-term sales cycles and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders. From lead generation to deal closing, you will manage the entire sales cycle with the support of internal teams, including marketing, bid management, and technical experts.

    Key Responsibilities
    Your daily responsibilities will include:

    • Driving sales across Germany with a focus on our critical communication, video, and software solutions.

    • Achieving orders and revenue targets through effective account management and new business development.

    • Building and maintaining strong, trusted relationships with customers to ensure Motorola Solutions is their go-to partner.

    • Developing and executing a business growth plan for existing customers and identifying new opportunities in your territory.

    • Expanding current accounts by offering the full Motorola Solutions portfolio.

    • Managing and maintaining accurate sales forecasts and account information in Salesforce.

    • Staying informed about competitor products, solutions, and strategies.

    • Collaborating with internal teams such as bid management, technical architects, post-sales support, product management, and legal.

    • TETRA & Broadband Convergence Mastery: Demonstrated ability to manage the transition from mission-critical voice (TETRA) to mobile data (LTE/5G), ensuring seamless interoperability between legacy radio networks and modern broadband applications within the BOS (Behörden und Organisationen mit Sicherheitsaufgaben) framework.
    • MSI Ecosystem Solution Selling: Proven track record in "Better Together" solution architecture, moving beyond hardware sales to integrate Video Security (Avigilon/Pelco) and Command Center Software into a unified safety platform that automates workflows for first responders.
    • German Public Procurement Expertise: Deep operational knowledge of the German legal landscape for public tenders (VgV, UVgO), including the ability to influence MEAT (Most Economically Advantageous Tender) criteria and navigate the complex funding structures of State and Federal Interior Ministries.
    • Regulatory & Security Compliance: High-level fluency in BDBOS certification standards, GDPR, and German data sovereignty requirements to ensure all cloud and AI-driven solutions meet the stringent "Geheimschutz" (classified information) and security protocols of German law enforcement.
    • Mission-Critical Stakeholder Management: Exceptional "Mission Empathy" and relationship-building skills across the German public safety hierarchy, from technical procurement officers at the ZPD (Zentrale Polizeitechnische Dienste) to operational end-users in police, fire, and rescue services.

    Essential Skills and Qualifications:

    • Strong account management experience, with a focus on new business development and relationship building.

    • The ability to identify, qualify, and close new opportunities quickly.
