    We are looking for a proactive, hands-on Sales Development Representative

    focused on INBOUND new business leads across Latin America while becoming a

    subject matter expert on Kpler's Maritime/Shipping/Logistics product suite.

    Reporting to the Regional Team Lead, this role requires a driven individual

    who can achieve and excel in targets.

    This role requires trilingual written and verbal proficiency in Spanish, Portuguese and English.

    Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop leads through outbound cold calling, cold emailing, and networking (will also manage select Financial inbounds for North America)
  2. Research and map clients and target prospects in the industry, particularly in Financial sector (hedge funds, banks, financial institutions, consulting firms)
  3. Generate and qualify business opportunities through professional, and dedicated prospecting via multiple channels using the BANT methodology
  4. Working with the sales team to tailor a unique sales pitch/value proposition to prospects
  5. Keep track of industry events to have meaningful conversations with
    prospects and contribute to regional marketing strategy
  6. Use a variety of tools to research prospective leads
  7. Support Commercial/Account Managers with their lead-generation activities
  8. Enrich the CRM Platform (Salesforce) with relevant and precise information about clients, prospects, leads, and qualified opportunities
  9. Meet and exceed all quarterly and annual sales targets
  10. Qualifications
  11. Trilingual written and verbal proficiency in Spanish, Portuguese and English -this is mandatory
  12. Ideally 1-4 years of experience as a Sales Development Representative (SDR) prospecting and qualifying inbound leads (high volume) in a B2B SaaS/Tech company ideally targeting the Maritime/Shipping/Logistics sector across America and/ or LATAM
  13. Experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach.io, and Salesforce CRM is a big plus!
  14. Intrinsic drive to be successful and show quick adaptation
  15. Strong communication and presentation skills (verbal and written)
  16. A proactive, ‘hunter’ mentality
  17. Highly personable, and confident interacting in person and over the phone with senior personnel
  18. Engaging copywriting skills and experience in delivering compelling emails and communications to stand out from the crowd
  19. Organized, structured, able to work under pressure, but effective and capable of meeting deadlines
  20. Professional customer-centric manner
  21. Desire to learn, and a keen interest in developing a career within a high-performing sales culture
  22. Tech-savvy with a genuine interest in disruptive technologies and current market trends
