    Position Summary:


    The Executive Search Intern will support a comprehensive market and competitive research initiative focused on the healthcare executive search landscape. This role will provide hands-on exposure to executive recruiting strategy, talent mapping, candidate experience evaluation, and healthcare industry trends. The intern will contribute independent research and deliver actionable insights that support search execution, business development, and client advisory efforts.

    Scope of Work & Responsibilities


    The intern will support executive search and research initiatives by:

    • Conducting competitive and market research on healthcare executive search firms, talent trends, and industry benchmarks
    • Assisting with talent mapping and identification of executive leadership profiles across healthcare organizations
    • Analyzing candidate experience touchpoints, communication practices, and outreach strategies used across the industry
    • Gathering and synthesizing data from public sources, LinkedIn, firm websites, job postings, and market reports
    • Supporting development of search strategies, candidate pipelines, and client-facing insights
    • Identifying gaps, opportunities, and differentiators in executive search positioning and delivery
    • Preparing summaries, reports, and presentation materials for consultants and leadership
    • Contributing to research briefings used in client engagements and internal strategy discussions

    Skills & Experience Gained


    • Hands-on experience in executive search research and talent market analysis
    • Exposure to healthcare leadership trends, organizational structures, and executive roles
    • Experience conducting competitive and industry research in a professional services environment
    • Ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative data into clear, executive-level insights

    Job Responsibilities

    • Support executive search consultants with research, reporting, and operational tasks across active healthcare searches

    • Collect, analyze, and maintain candidate, market, and search-related data using internal tools and reporting frameworks

    • Prepare and update weekly and monthly reports, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely completion

    • Follow established documentation, templates, and processes while quickly ramping up on firm tools and reporting methods

    • Take ownership of recurring tasks after onboarding, managing deadlines independently with minimal oversight

    • Communicate proactively with team members regarding progress, questions, or potential issues

    • Maintain a high level of attention to detail when handling confidential candidate and client information

    • Collaborate with a supportive, team-oriented environment while working independently in a remote or hybrid setting

    Qualifications

    Education & Experience

    • High School Diploma or GED required

    • 0–2 years of related experience

    • 3.0 GPA

    Additional Requirements

    • Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student or recent graduate

    • Interest in marketing, digital communications, strategy, or research

    • Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams

        Pay Rate

        $17.25 - $20.50 Hourly

        Final pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location.
