Role Purpose
In the context of rapid growth within the Data Centre market, you will be responsible for the business development of water treatment and cooling optimization solutions across the Netherlands.
You will engage with key market players (hyperscalers, colocation providers, major operators) and manage complex, high-value sales cycles.
Key Responsibilities
New Data Centre Account Development
Identify and target key Data Centre players in the Dutch market
Develop and secure multi-site contracts
Build a strong pipeline of high-value opportunities
Account Expansion & Deployment
Expand existing contracts to additional sites
Replicate proven technical solutions across customer portfolios
Accelerate implementation and revenue generation
Technical Sales & Complex Sales Cycles
Manage sales processes involving significant technical challenges (water treatment, cooling systems, energy performance)
Develop high-value technical and commercial proposals
Coordinate internal teams (technical experts, engineering, operations)
Strategic Customer Relationships
Engage with key stakeholders: engineering, operations, procurement
Position Chem-Aqua as a trusted partner in water treatment and cooling optimization
Candidate Profile
Experience
Proven experience in B2B technical sales, ideally within:
Water treatment (chemicals and/or services)
Industrial cooling, HVAC, or thermal systems
Critical environments (Data Centres, industrial facilities, utilities)
You are currently working for a company specializing in water treatment, chemical solutions, or technical services for critical infrastructure, and are looking to grow into more strategic sales cycles within a dynamic market.
Demonstrated success in selling complex technical solutions
Data Centre experience is a plus, but not mandatory
Skills & Competencies
Strong business development and closing capabilities
High level of comfort in technical environments
Ability to engage with engineers and operations teams
Solid understanding of water, cooling, and asset performance challenges
Languages
Fluent English required
Dutch is highly valued (professional level preferred)
