The Opportunity:
We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Business Intelligence Intern to join our team for the summer. This internship offers hands-on experience in data analytics, visualization, and reporting using industry-leading tools. You’ll work on real-world projects that drive business insights and collaborate with experienced BI professionals in a dynamic environment.
This internship is 10 weeks starting June 1st going until August 7th and will be fully remote.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and enhance interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
Write and optimize queries in Databricks SQL to extract and transform data.
Assist in data modeling and preparation for analytics and visualization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver actionable insights.
Participate in team meetings, knowledge-sharing sessions, and training activities throughout the program.
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s in Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
Expected graduation: May/June/Dec 2026-2028.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Interest in data visualization, reporting, and modern BI tools.
Eager to learn and take feedback from mentors who want to help you grow and prepare for the workforce.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with Power BI and basic data visualization principles.
Understanding of SQL and basic SQL functions like Select, Aggregate Functions & joins.
Understanding of relational concepts like Tables/Rows/Columns/ Primary Key & Foreign Jey.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
Demonstrated curiosity, innovation, and a passion for learning
This position pays $25/hr.
