You’ll bring your first-hand experience, unique perspectives, and analytical rigor to deliver tailored, data-driven solutions that help private equity and corporate clients navigate complex transactions—solving today’s challenges while setting the foundation for lasting value creation. As an Associate Director at CrossCountry Consulting, you will own client engagement delivery end-to-end, begin to take on business development responsibilities, and play an active role in leading and developing the FDD Analytics team.

    What You'll Do:
  1. Lead and manage buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements—including carve-outs and divestitures—guiding clients through key transaction milestones from initial risk assessment through deal close and post-transaction support.
  2. Own the development and review of quality of earnings (QoE) analyses, net working capital assessments, normalized EBITDA evaluations, and cash flow analyses that surface key value drivers, risks, and opportunities for clients.
  3. Oversee the design and delivery of analytics solutions—including data modeling, interactive dashboards, and visualization outputs—that transform complex financial datasets into clear, executive-ready insights.
  4. Drive hypothesis-led, data-enabled approaches to uncover performance trends, margin dynamics, revenue quality, and balance sheet considerations that inform deal valuation and negotiation strategy.
  5. Integrate and apply leading analytics tools (e.g., Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, R, Excel, Snowflake) into diligence workflows to accelerate delivery speed and enhance depth of client insights.
  6. Contribute to developing and implementing firm-approved, AI-enabled solutions for clients, in accordance with company policies on data protection, intellectual property, and professional standards.
  7. Stay informed about emerging AI tools and techniques and collaborate with firm leadership to identify compliant opportunities to enhance client solutions and internal processes.
  8. Oversee project administration, including work plans, staffing, timelines, budgeting, and billing across concurrent engagements, ensuring high-quality and on-time delivery.
  9. Proactively monitor M&A market trends, evolving analytics technologies, and sector-specific developments, and articulate their potential impact to clients and internal teams.
  10. Support business development efforts by helping to identify and pursue opportunities with private equity sponsors, corporate acquirers, and lenders—leveraging existing client relationships and contributing to proposals and pursuit materials.
  11. Cultivate strong client relationships and serve as a trusted day-to-day advisor who understands client business needs, identifies opportunities for expanded service, and delivers high-quality work.
  12. Mentor and develop junior team members through coaching, performance feedback, and active involvement in their professional growth; contribute to recruiting and retaining top analytics talent.
  13. What You'll Bring:
  14. 9+ years of experience in financial due diligence, transaction analytics, public accounting, or a related professional services environment.
  15. In-depth knowledge of quality of earnings methodologies, net working capital analyses, EBITDA normalization, and financial statement evaluation in an M&A context.
  16. Demonstrated experience managing FDD engagements and workstreams for private equity and corporate clients, with increasing responsibility for team leadership and client relationships.
  17. Proficiency with analytics and data platforms such as Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, R, Excel, or Snowflake, and the ability to apply these tools within a transaction context.
  18. Proven ability to independently manage project teams, resolve engagement-level issues, and deliver high-quality client deliverables under tight timelines.
  19. Track record of building and developing strong client relationships, with early-stage experience contributing to business development and proposal efforts.
  20. Comfort with AI: Demonstrated ability to responsibly explore and adopt firm-approved AI tools to enhance productivity and innovation.
  21. Continuous Learning Mindset: Openness to learning and applying emerging technologies including AI and automation in alignment with firm policies and client standards.
  22. Willingness to travel up to 30%; travel varies based on client preferences.
