    How you'll make an impact in this role

    • The Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) will utilize evidence-based practice models to increase role clarity. Strengthen recruitment throughprofessional pathways, clinical credibility and practice excellence.
    • Drive practice alignments, accountability, and continuous improvement by utilizing data and performancemetrics. Accelerate adoption of best practices across the enterprise, improving speed to value andoperational reliability.
    • Improve clinical outcomes by reducing harm, variation, and preventable adverse events throughstandardized and evidence-based interventions. Embed the voice of patients and families into practicestandards.
    • Strengthen regulatory readiness through consistent practice and risk mitigation. Create a culture ofsafety and excellence where data, evidence, and clinical expertise guides decision-making.

    What minimum qualifications you'll need

    Licensure / Certification / Registration:

    • Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
    • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American HeartAssociation or American Red Cross accepted.

    Education:

    • Master's degree in nursing required.

    What additional requirements you'll need

    • Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) credential required
    • 7+ years of multi-hospital nursing and leadership experience
    • Experience with evidence-based nursing practice, quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
    • Demonstrated expertise with nursing-sensitive indicators (falls, pressure injuries, hospital-acquired infections), professional governance, policy development and standardization, product evaluation related to nursing practice and external benchmarking (NDNQI)
