    About Osmind
Osmind is a technology, services, and data company focused exclusively on psychiatry. We serve 800+ independent psychiatry practices across 49 states with a purpose-built EHR, software solutions, and managed services. We're a San Francisco–based Series B Public Benefit Corporation backed by DFJ Growth, Future Ventures, General Catalyst, and Y Combinator.
We’re growing rapidly and are launching a brand new platform. This is a rare opportunity to shape its technical foundation while making a significant impact on patients, clinicians, and researchers.
    The Opportunity
We're looking for a Staff Software Engineer to be a core member of our Product Engineering team—writing code every day while driving architecture decisions, mentoring senior engineers, and partnering with Product and Clinical teams to build software that directly improves patient outcomes.
    What You'll Do
  1. Own and drive architecture decisions across our stack, setting patterns the whole team builds on
  2. Lead complex, ambiguous product challenges end-to-end—from technical design through shipping to end users
  3. Mentor other engineers through code reviews, design feedback, and pairing
  4. Partner with Product, Design, and Clinical teams to translate clinical workflows into scalable solutions
  5. Identify and drive improvements to technical debt, reliability, and developer experience
  6. Champion AI tools in your daily workflow and help establish team-wide best practices
  7. Our tech stack: TypeScript, Node.js, React, Postgres, AWS, ECS
  8. Requirements
  9. 8+ years of full-stack engineering experience, at least 4 years at the Senior level, shipping complex features in production systems
  10. Demonstrated track record leading technical initiatives that span multiple teams or systems
  11. Extensive experience with 0-1 builds
  12. Proficient with AI coding tools as part of daily development
  13. Experience at early-staged venture-backed startups (e.g. seed through Series C stage)
  14. Strong communicator who can align stakeholders around technical decisions
  15. Passion for improving mental healthcare
  16. Nice To Haves
  17. HIPAA-regulated healthcare or fintech experience
  18. AI/ML integration in production
  19. Based in San Francisco and able to go into the office 2 days per week
  20. Company:  Osmind

Develops an EHR platform for clinicians and researchers advancing breakthrough mental health treatments, including ketamine and psychedelic medicine.
