    We're seeking board certified Nurse Practitioners licensed in Rhode Island (multi licensed strongly preferred) with broad clinical expertise and a passion for improving healthcare access and quality. In this role, you'll deliver virtual comprehensive care to patients of all ages across a wide range of conditions, while working closely with our provider and support teams. This is a great opportunity for a clinician with at least 3 years experience in high-volume Urgent Care or Primary Care settings.
    This role requires an active RN compact license and licensure in multiple states. Ideal candidates will hold five or more active state licenses.
    Currently unable to consider candidates residing in the following states: CA, NY, GA, TN, IL, NV, MO, AL, SC, IN, MI, OR, MA, MS, AK, DC, HI
    Schedule:

    Part Time (20 hours/week)

  1. Weekly shifts: shifts must be scheduled between 3p-11p
  2. Weekend rotation: Required to work every other weekend (both Saturday & Sunday) scheduled between 3pm-11pm
  3. 2 holiday shifts required per calendar year
    4. Please Note: Shift scheduling is managed by our team (this is not a self-scheduling role), but we always do our best to take your personal preferences into consideration. Final hours and specific shift times will be confirmed a few weeks prior to your official start date.
    Required Qualifications:
  4. Graduate of an accredited Master’s or Doctoral-level Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program, with prior graduation from an accredited nursing school.
  5. Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license with maintained Registered Nurse (RN) licensure, in accordance with state requirements
  6. Current national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner through AANP or ANCC
  7. Active RN compact license
  8. Active multi-state licensure (5+ licenses preferred)
  9. Minimum 3+ years post-training experience in high-volume Urgent Care or Primary Care settings
  10. Experience providing care to newborns through adult populations
  11. Ability to function within an integrated medical practice
  12. Strong clinical acumen and ability to manage a broad range of conditions
  13. Excellent communication, collaboration, and patient engagement skills
  14. Proficiency with technology and electronic medical records
  15. Maintain active Medicare status - In good standing with Medicare/Medicaid and not excluded from participation in federal health programs
    16. Responsibilities:

  16. Conduct age-appropriate history and virtual exams

  17. Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of conditions across the lifespan

  18. Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed

  19. Develop and document treatment plans in a timely, accurate manner

  20. Manage acute, chronic, and mental health conditions for pediatric and adult patients

  21. Request consultation or referral with other health care providers when appropriate

  22. Counsel and educate patients and families on treatment plans

  23. Maintain current knowledge of clinical best practices and evidence-based care

  24. Provide cross-coverage for tasks such as reviewing lab results

  25. Offer scheduling flexibility, including evenings and weekends

    26. Preferred Qualifications:
  26. Prior telemedicine or video-based virtual care experience
  27. Experience with Athena EMR
