Spreetail is looking for a data-driven Business Operations Coordinator to join our team and help power smarter, faster purchasing decisions across the business. In this role, you'll partner closely with Business Operators, Merchants, Planners, and Finance, turning data from tools like Excel and Power BI into actionable insights that keep orders aligned with business rules and margin goals. If you thrive on solving problems, spotting patterns before they become risks, and driving process improvements that move the needle on GMV, inventory turns, and EBITDA, we want to hear from you.
How you will achieve success:
Act as a key cross-functional partner to Merchants, Planners, Finance, and Inventory by providing insights and ensuring purchase orders align with business rules.
Synthesize data from various tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Process Street) to inform order-level recommendations and broader purchasing strategy.
Proactively identifying patterns and risks in orders and leading conversations to resolve root causes.
Support process improvements that improve margin, reduce inventory risk, or streamline decision-making across teams.
Optimize the approval process through data analytics and close collaboration with stakeholders.
What experiences will help you in this role:
- 1.5–5 years of work experience since college (or 2+ years of internships), ideally in finance or business, with strong grades (3.5+ GPA) showing discipline and follow-through.
- Sharp with numbers and detail-oriented - comfortable with margin, cost, and inventory math, careful enough to catch their own mistakes, and highly organized enough to juggle a lot of moving pieces without dropping any.
- Strong communicator and relationship-builder - a people person who's comfortable having tough conversations and can explain complicated processes in simple terms.
- Tech-forward and curious - already using tools like Claude or ChatGPT to automate repetitive work, picks up new platforms fast (Asana, Notion, Zapier), and is eager to learn SQL and Power BI.
- Hungry to grow - shows a track record of progression rather than standing still, with the drive and energy to keep pushing forward.
