    The Business Development Manager will drive new business growth for Sensata’s Automotive Electrification portfolio, with a focus on battery protection solutions across European automotive Tier customers.
    This role focuses on building pipeline, identifying new opportunities, and positioning Sensata in early-stage customer programs within a dynamic and evolving market.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute a new business acquisition strategy across key European automotive Tier customers
    • Build a sustainable pipeline of opportunities in electrification and battery protection
    • Act as the primary commercial interface for assigned prospects and accounts
    • Engage cross-functional stakeholders including engineering, purchasing, quality, and manufacturing
    • Lead early-stage customer discussions, particularly with engineering teams during development phases
    • Coordinate internal teams to ensure effective solution positioning and proposal delivery
    • Deliver sales growth aligned with business targets and long-term strategic goals

    Required Experience

    • 5–10 years in Business Development / Sales in Automotive sector
    • Proven experience in new business acquisition (hunter profile)
    • Experience working with automotive Tier suppliers and/or OEM ecosystem
    • Demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder environments

    Preferred Experience

    • Exposure to automotive electrification, battery systems, or electronics
    • Technical understanding enabling discussions with engineering teams
    • Experience managing multi-country European accounts
