    Job Description

Allstate Insurance Company is hiring an individual contributor-level Business Architect Sr. Consultant I within the Sales and Distribution business team. This role will leverage AI-enabled research, analytics, and productivity tools to assess service journeys, processes, operational data, and stakeholder feedback; identify priority service, process, and experience needs; and translate findings into clear, evidence-based outputs. These insights will support problem statement development, opportunity framing, and cross-functional solutioning aligned to the Service Simplification strategy.

The selected individual will partner with business, technology, data, and user experience stakeholders to document current and future states, develop recommendations, and help advance solutions that simplify service for customers and agents. Success in this role requires strong analytical thinking, insurance business acumen, responsible use of AI tools, clear communication, and effective collaboration.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Build knowledge of Service Simplification, business strategy, operating models, customer and agent service journeys, and enabling technologies to guide analysis and recommendations.

    • Use approved AI tools and analytical methods to synthesize qualitative and quantitative inputs, identify patterns and root causes, and surface unmet service, process, and experience needs.

    • Analyze customer and agent journeys; process flows; operational data; feedback; and research to identify friction, manual work, duplication, failure demand, and opportunities for simplification.

    • Develop AI-assisted research plans, prompts, and repeatable analysis approaches that improve the speed, consistency, and depth of discovery while validating outputs for accuracy, relevance, bias, and appropriate use.

    • Translate analysis into clear artifacts: including insight summaries, current-state assessments, opportunity areas, journey or process findings, and supporting evidence—that enable strong problem statement creation.

    • Partner with business, technology, data, operations, and user experience stakeholders to validate needs, clarify business outcomes, and frame solution options that advance the Service Simplification strategy.

    • Identify dependencies, constraints, risks, and impacts across people, process, experience, data, and technology to inform prioritization and solutioning decisions.

    • Create concise, audience-ready narratives and visual documentation that connect evidence, service needs, problem statements, and potential outcomes for decision-makers.

    • Maintain traceability from source inputs and analysis through identified needs, problem statements, recommendations, and solution concepts.

    • Contribute reusable AI-enabled analysis practices, templates, and knowledge assets that strengthen the team’s ability to consistently identify and communicate Service Simplification opportunities.
