Waymo is an autonomous driving technology company with the mission to be the world's most trusted driver. Since its start as the Google Self-Driving Car Project in 2009, Waymo has focused on building the Waymo Driver—The World's Most Experienced Driver™—to improve access to mobility while saving thousands of lives now lost to traffic crashes. The Waymo Driver powers Waymo’s fully autonomous ride-hail service and can also be applied to a range of vehicle platforms and product use cases. The Waymo Driver has provided over ten million rider-only trips, enabled by its experience autonomously driving over 100 million miles on public roads and tens of billions in simulation across 15+ U.S. states.

The Business Development and Partnerships team helps plan Waymo’s dynamic future and drive the company’s go-to-market strategy. We work cross-functionally and leverage quantitative and qualitative analysis to build forward-looking partnerships that deliver on Waymo’s strategic business objectives. • Establish best practices and develop internal systems to facilitate Waymo’s work with utilities across teams
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across time zones to define partnership strategy, solve complex problems, execute business initiatives, create work plans, lead analysis, develop and communicate final recommendations to move partnerships forward
    • Represent Waymo and the partnerships team at high priority industry conferences and events
    • Identify, create, negotiate and implement effective partner agreements that drive results across the Waymo partnerships ecosystem

    You have:

    • Experience in partner management, partner development, or account management.
    • Experience working with executive stakeholders at utilities
    • Experience working within a technology, EV, or AV company
    • Experience leading partnership programs
    • Experience working cross-functionally within an organization and driving decision-making

    We prefer:

    • 8+ years of experience in partner management, partner development, or account management.
    • Experience building strong relationships with executive stakeholders at utilities.
    • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and operate with flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving and highly collaborative environment.
    • Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams and ability to influence at all levels, internally and externally.
    • Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize, plan and implement key activities.
    • Excellent communication and superior analytical skills, meticulous in following-up, able to deliver results under pressure, and keen presentation skills.
