We are seeking a highly motivated and pragmatic Commercial Counsel to join our growing Legal team. The role offers the opportunity to work in close partnership with our go-to-market teams (Sales, Marketing, Partners & Alliances, and Professional Services) and make a significant impact on the company’s operations. The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years of experience reviewing and negotiating contracts, a strong ability to exercise independent judgment, and a practical, business focused approach to legal issues. We have a strong preference for candidates located in the Pacific and Mountain Time Zones but will consider candidates located in the Central Time Zone who are open to working Pacific Time Zone.
This position will report to the General Counsel and will have opportunities to collaborate directly with business leaders.

Job Responsibilities
Contract Review and Negotiation
Review, draft, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial contracts, for our go-to-market teams
Review, draft, and negotiate agreements with vendors and suppliers
Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure contracts align with business objectives and risk tolerance
Support for Go-to-Market Teams
Work closely with internal clients to understand the business, and support them in solving their biggest challenges and achieving their business objectives
Provide clear and simple advice and counsel to our go-to-market teams
Proactively address legal and business risks while enabling deal closures and fostering strong internal partnerships
Collaboration Across the Legal Function and Beyond
Assist with the creation and maintenance of deal enablement tools including agreement templates, playbooks, processes, and trainings
Partner with other members of the Legal team and as part of cross-functional teams on key projects and initiatives
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and admission to at least one state bar (in good standing)
At least 2-3 years of experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial contracts, preferably in a technology, SaaS, or high-growth company environment
Strong ability to exercise independent judgment and make decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Demonstrated ability to provide pragmatic, solutions-oriented legal advice while balancing legal risk and business objectives
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders
Familiarity with privacy laws and regulations, including GDPR, CPRA and CCPA
Familiarity with U.S. federal government contracts is a plus
