Creating Peace of Mind by Pioneering Safety and Security

At Allegion, we help keep the people you know and love safe and secure where they live, work and visit. With more than 40 brands, 14,000+ employees globally and products sold in 130 countries, we specialize in security around the doorway and beyond.

Additionally, Allegion is proud to be recognized with the 2026 Gallup Exceptional Workplace Award (GEWA) for the third consecutive year, earning distinction in both the employee engagement and strengths categories. This year, Allegion also received Gallup’s With Distinction honor — a designation reserved for a select group of organizations that go above and beyond in building exceptional workplace cultures.

Waitwhile is on a mission to eliminate the 1 trillion hours people spend waiting in lines every year. Our
industry-leading queue management and appointment scheduling platform empowers businesses to streamline
their operations and deliver exceptional customer experiences. Waitwhile is trusted by 10,000 companies
worldwide and has helped more than 250 million people enjoy a radically better waiting experience at places
like IKEA, Louis Vuitton, Costco, Delta Airlines, and many more.
As a Business Development Representative at Waitwhile, you’ll be responsible for generating pipeline through
thoughtful, consistent outbound prospecting. You’ll work closely with sales leadership to identify target
accounts, engage the right buyers, and create qualified opportunities for the sales team.
This is not a plug-into-an-existing-machine kind of role.
As a founding BDR, you’ll help shape the process, messaging, and feedback loops that will influence how
outbound is built here long term. We’re looking for someone who is proactive, resourceful, and excited by the
opportunity to help build something from scratch.
We recognize that great talent and breakthrough ideas can come from anywhere. That’s why this position
offers a flexible remote work arrangement, with occasional on-site visits as needed based on the role. Whether
you’re working remotely or collaborating in person, we’re committed to providing the tools, support, and
dynamic environment you need to succeed. At Allegion, your career thrives where innovation meets flexibility,
empowering you to achieve your goals while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
While this is the current structure and we currently have no plans to change, we reserve the right to
make changes to the remote schedule as needed at the Company’s discretion.
Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. The company
does not intend to provide sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B, TN, etc.) for this
    employment position.
    What You Will Do:
    Drive outbound prospecting
    ● Prospect into target accounts through cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other outbound channels
    ● Identify and research key decision-makers within target accounts
    ● Book qualified meetings for Account Executives and help build pipeline
    ● Personalize outreach where it matters while maintaining strong activity levels
    Help build the outbound motion
    ● Partner with sales leadership to refine targeting, messaging, and outreach strategy
    ● Contribute ideas and feedback on what is working and what needs to improve
    ● Help establish early best practices for outbound prospecting at Waitwhile
    ● Bring a builder mentality to process, experimentation, and day-to-day execution
    Manage tools and workflow
    ● Maintain clean and accurate data in HubSpot
    ● Use tools like Amplemarket, Trellus, and ZoomInfo to prospect, prioritize accounts, and execute
    outreach effectively
    ● Stay organized across activity, follow-up, and pipeline creation
    ● Continuously improve efficiency and output through strong workflow habits
    Collaborate across teams
    ● Share prospect feedback with Sales, Marketing, and RevOps to improve messaging and targeting

    ● Partner with AEs to ensure strong handoff quality and alignment on opportunities
    ● Surface market insights and objections from frontline conversations
    What You Need to Succeed:
    ● 1–2+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, business development, or outbound prospecting preferred
    ● Founding, early-stage, or startup experience is a strong plus
    ● Strong self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently and take initiative
    ● Comfortable operating in an environment where not everything is fully built yet
    ● Strong written and verbal communication skills
    ● Resilience, curiosity, and a willingness to test, learn, and improve quickly
    ● Organized and detail-oriented, with solid follow-through
    ● A builder mindset — someone who wants to help create, not just execute
    ● Preferred:
    ○ Familiarity with HubSpot, Amplemarket, Trellus, and ZoomInfo
    ○ Experience prospecting into mid-market or enterprise accounts
    ○ Experience selling to operations, CX, retail, healthcare, travel, or other service-heavy
    industries
    ○ Experience helping shape messaging, cadences, or outbound processes in a prior role
