OVERVIEW
The Enterprise Management Operating System (eMOS) is a platform that equips our operations with structured practices and data-driven insights to lead effectively. It supports ongoing leadership development and enhances supervisor capabilities, enabling better outcomes for the ~30K users across Cigna.
Within eMOS, there are four supporting functions: onboarding, tool development, sustainment, and training. The Operations Director is responsible for the daily oversight and management of these teams powering eMOS, as well as the forward-looking vision of where the platform should evolve. This role will work in collaboration with Product, Operations and Business leaders to understand the unique needs of the many organizations eMOS supports.
This is a fully remote opportunity for candidates in select geographies. Candidates who reside within 50 miles of the following locations will be required to perform onsite 3 days per week: Bloomfield, CT; Chattanooga, TN; Denver, CO; St Louis, MO; and Scottsdale, AZ.
Position Summary
Reporting to the Senior Director of the Client and Customer Experience (C&CE) Horizontal Strategy & Analytics team, this individual will be responsible for leading the eMOS organization day-to-day, defining the destination of the platform, and driving transformational change. The role will lead four separate teams within eMOS (onboarding, tool development, sustainment, and training). Each team is comprised of operations and business roles, supporting ~30K users across Cigna.
This role will partner with many leaders across Cigna to drive improved operational efficiencies. Build new technology solutions that improve the platform experience and generate efficiencies. Act as a key thought partner for the executive stakeholders- provide strategic thought leadership and drive continuous improvement across all lines of business. Be an influential with key internal stakeholders to drive action and resolution to problems that impact the operations. Identifies opportunities for process/platform improvement and works with partners to implement broad and unique changes.
