The Leidos Digital Modernization Sector is seeking a Data Pipelines Engineer; this position will allow for full time telework from any U.S. based location.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Leidos Chief Data and Analytics Office is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Pipelines Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing pipelines to move data from sources systems, landing the data in established staging areas, ETL/ELT operations to combine sources and perform data cleansing. This role involves data engineering to establish pipelines for data movement and aggregation to meet specific Data Product specification technical and performance requirements and identifying opportunities for improvement.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines to access data sources
Develop processes for staging data, performing ETL/ELT operations and moving data to the appropriate data flows.
Collaborate with data engineers, data analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure alignment to Use Case
Perform design engineering to ensure the data pipeline meets the Product’s Data Contract for currency, throughput, and performance.
