    Purple Land Management (PLM) is seeking an experienced Title Landman to review runsheets and prepare ownership reports for lands in Utah, primarily in the Uinta Basin. We’re looking for someone who understands Western title, works carefully through complex records, and produces accurate ownership calculations. Candidates should have 7+ years of title experience in Colorado, Wyoming, and/or Utah, or 5+ years working specifically in Utah.
    Responsibilities
  1. Research county records to determine surface and mineral ownership by utilizing online databases or travel to the local county courthouse to review county records
  2. Analyze and document research results to select the relevant information to input into reports for submission to the client
  3. Meet deadlines and balance multiple priorities in an environment with shifting timeframes
  4. Contribute to other duties assigned by management and determined by business needs
  5. Mandatory Requirements
  6. Minimum of 7 years of experience researching surface, mineral, and leasehold title, including experience in Colorado, Utah, Wyoming.
  7. Ability to meet specific deadlines, daily and weekly, based on current internal and client needs
  8. Ability to work with minimal supervision
  9. Ability to communicate professionally with all levels of management and clients (in writing and verbally)
  10. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; specifically, Excel and Word
  11. Experience with Adobe Acrobat
  12. Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)
  13. Juris Doctorate
  14. AAPL membership
  15. Bachelor’s degree
  16. Degree in Energy Management/Commerce
  17. Provides comprehensive land management services for energy companies including title research, lease negotiation, and due diligence.
