    SAP ABAP + PCC Consultant

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Design, develop and maintain SAP ABAP solutions within the SAP HCM (HR) module, mainly focused on Payroll and international payroll processes.
    • Analyze and resolve reported incidents, providing technical support and guidance on the best way to implement solutions.
    • Develop in ABAP using object-oriented and structured programming, ensuring clean, reliable, and easy-to-maintain code.
    • Build and enhance reports, classes, methods, function modules, enhancements, BAdIs and user exits related to payroll.
    • Work with internal tables, ALV reports, complex data structures, and large data volumes.
    • Deliver stable and maintainable developments, following SAP best practices and Strada’s internal standards.
    • Execute technical testing using provided or self-generated test data to ensure developments meet agreed requirements.
    • Create and maintain clear technical documentation for implemented solutions and resolved issues.
    • Manage daily tasks and assigned tickets, making sure priorities and deadlines are met.
    • Provide regular updates on status and progress to the Application Maintenance Outsourcing (AMO) team lead.
    • Keep clear and effective communication with internal and external teams.
    • Clearly explain issue status, resolution, and root cause once incidents are closed.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • 6+ years of proven experience as a SAP ABAP Developer, with strong focus on SAP HR / HCM.
    • Solid experience with ABAP HCM and Payroll Control Center (PCC).
    • Knowledge of Infotypes, Adobe Forms, BAdIs and user exits.
    • Hands-on experience with ABAP  for at least 3 European countries or the United States.
    • Experience in LATAM projects (highly valued).
    • Experience with integrations such as IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs and interfaces with external systems.
    • Background working in global, complex environments with high data volumes.
    • Advanced English, both written and spoken.
    • Spanish is a plus.
    • Experience with S/4HANA HR or transformation projects is a plus.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in distributed environments.
    • Strong communication skills, both technical and functional.
    • Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
    • Comfortable working with multicultural teams and adapting to regulatory changes.
