    How you will make history here...
    The Associate Director, Quality – External Manufacturing serves as the Make vs Buy (MvB) Quality interface with assigned business units, connecting Quality with Supply Chain, Marketing, Sales, and R&D. This role manages a team of MVB Quality Managers and supports quality operations for external manufacturing partners, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities include qualifying co-manufacturers, supporting commercialization activities, driving consumer complaint improvement plans, and implementing quality programs and enablers. The individual provides technical leadership within their scope and ensures adherence to Campbell’s Global Quality policies.

    What you will do...

    • Lead a team of MVB Quality managers to support new product commercialization, quality improvement initiatives, and enabler programs at co-manufacturers. (30%)

    • Provide Technical Support to plant and corporate Quality teams and assist with project execution. Identify and implement continuous improvement activities with a focus on food safety and quality. (20%)

    • Support investigation of consumer complaint trends and ensure corrective actions are implemented. (10%)

    • Collaborate with Co-Manufacturers to maintain adherence to Campbell’s Supplier Expectation Manual and quality requirements. (10%)

    • Implement Quality Programs and support internal/external audit readiness, ensuring compliance with design and execution standards. (10%)

    • Track and Report Quality KPIs for assigned co-manufacturers, identifying trends and recommending improvements. (10%)

    • Support Alignment of Quality Objectives within assigned scope, ensuring consistency with broader organizational goals. (10%)

    Manages quality processes and systems for external manufacturing partners, ensuring compliance with Campbell’s standards. Supports commercialization activities, conducts food safety and quality risk assessments, and ensures proper execution of specifications. Leads investigations of quality incidents and consumer complaints, driving corrective actions with co-manufacturer teams. Collaborates across functions to maintain product quality and continuous improvement.

    What you will bring to the table... (Must Have)

    • Bachelors Degree

    • 8+ years in food industry/Quality experience with strong knowledge of GMP, food safety, and quality systems

    It would be great if you have... (Nice to Have)

    • Bachelors Degree in Food related field
    • 8+ years of corporate quality experience and plant experience
    • Familiarity with SPC, DOE, and process capability studies

    Compensation and Benefits:

    The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between 

    $141,500-$203,400

    Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
