The Sales Effectiveness & Insights Advisor supports PBS sales teams to provide strategic consultation, analytics, and high‑impact insight tools that strengthen opportunity targeting, drive growth, enable more effective sales activity, and more efficient management of operational metrics. The role collaborates across teams to drive a deeper understanding of our sales environment and create an aligned perspective on the state of new sales using analytical tools, analytical methods, and emerging AI capabilities. The role will report to the Senior Director of Sales Strategy and Execution and is primarily focused in building and maintaining a robust insights program that drives better decision making and execution across PBS New Sales and Consultant & Producer Strategy.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Delivers high quality insights to support leadership decision making and capitalization of individual sales opportunities.
Develops and delivers high-quality sales insights to identify performance risks and opportunities.
Delivers real-time insights to support numerous organizational enhancement activities.
Drives sales controls, metrics, systems and processes which lead to organizational gains in productivity across all markets and facilitate distribution across all channels.
Performs ad hoc analyses to identify trends and makes recommendations for process and/or training improvements.
Delivers reporting infrastructure to support management activities and decision-making (Monthly Business Reviews, weekly performance updates, sales journey insights etc…)
Identifies and advances opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and emerging technologies to improve operational efficiency, enhance prospect insights, and support the selling process.
IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE A COMBINATION OF THE FOLLOWING:
6+ years of relevant work experience
Bachelor’s degree in business management, Data Analytics, Finance, or Statistics
Strong PC skills including MSWord, Excel, working knowledge of internal IT systems, PBM adjudication processes, Sales force tools
Strong analytic skills with working knowledge of financials
Strong proficiency in data combination, manipulation, and visualization
Preferred proficiency in analytical tools like Tableau, Alteryx, SQL query language or other
Ability to work cross-functionally to proactively communicate and resolve issues with the highest sense of urgency
Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Exceptional PowerPoint and/or other presentation/design type tools
