Key Responsibilities
Advanced, total system-level troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and service repair on OEM non-GE designated X-ray equipment, including but not restricted to Philips, Siemens, Canon, and Samsung.
Daily interface with Department Staff on equipment status and any ongoing issues. Acts to ensure satisfaction of primary customers.
Maintain daily communication with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up, leading to customer satisfaction.
Keep customer service logs and internal service records up to date.
Maintain tools and test equipment and ensure they are calibrated.
Identify sales opportunities and communicate them to the account team.
Work as a member of the local team to provide efficient and cost-effective service delivery.
Manage warranty and Planned Maintenance Service (PMS) contract cost control.
Support and mentor other Field Engineers on advanced troubleshooting and technical fixes.
Lead complex and multifunctional system installations.
Maintain quality systems and programs compliant with ISO 9001 standards and GE HealthCare Service Quality policies.
Qualifications
Qualified to National Diploma or B-Tech Degree level or equivalent.
Strong technical and analytical skills.
Solid Field Services experience in OEM-trained X-ray systems.
Comprehensive knowledge of X-ray systems and related imaging modalities.
Proficient in English.
Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
