Daikin Applied is hiring a Paralegal! This critical position provides essential legal support to the Disputes Team, ensuring timely and accurate handling of lawsuits, subpoenas, small claims, product claims, and related matters. Location: Remote Eligible - Based in Minneapolis area

What you will do:

• Intakes, organizes, and maintains files in matter management system
• Runs reports and prepares data visualizations for team metrics and KPIs
• Manages discovery, including the collection, organization, and preparation of data for production
• Issues and manages litigation holds
• Prepares drafts of basic documents, including correspondence, responses to discovery and subpoenas, affidavits and declarations, settlement agreements, and other documents
  Manage and maintain case files, records, and documentation within the matter management system
• Investigates facts and collects relevant documents relating to disputes
• Maintains and submits litigation and compliance reports.
• Manages service of process
• Works with Finance to process payments for legal settlements and other needs
• Manages administrative needs of the Disputes team, including invoicing, filing, calendaring, and scheduling meetings
• Assists with other projects as needed
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office suite

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associates Degree or Certificate in Paralegal Studies or equivalent experience

• 5+ years of experience as a paralegal
• Work visa sponsorship is not offered for this position

The typical hourly rate for this position ranges from $35.24 - $58.04 in Minnesota. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade in which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
