    FinTech is part of Zillow’s Enterprise Platforms & Technology organization and partners closely with Finance to support the systems behind billing, payments, accounting, tax, and financial planning. The team helps Zillow scale and evolve its financial operations through platforms like Zuora, Workday, Avalara, and custom services.

    About the role

    As a Senior Applications Analyst, you will help shape the architecture that supports Zillow’s billing, payments, revenue recognition, and broader financial operations. This role is ideal for someone who brings deep Zuora and finance systems expertise, enjoys solving complex business and systems challenges, and wants to influence how finance technology scales with evolving business models. You’ll serve as a senior individual contributor, partnering across Finance and technology teams to drive strategy, support delivery, and guide strong technical decisions.

    You Will Get To

    • Define and evolve finance systems architecture to support scalable billing, payments, revenue recognition, and financial operations.

    • Lead Zuora-focused solution design and platform improvements that support Zillow’s current and future business needs.

    • Partner closely with Finance and cross-functional technical teams to translate business needs into effective systems solutions.

    • Support the delivery of new capabilities and enhancements across finance systems and related workflows.

    • Help ensure finance technology can scale with changing product offerings, transaction volume, and operational complexity.

    • Contribute to architectural decisions that improve reliability, flexibility, and long-term maintainability across the finance systems landscape.

    • Provide senior-level technical leadership as an individual contributor by driving strategy and influencing decisions across stakeholders and partners.

    • Mentor and support technical team members through collaboration, knowledge sharing, and thoughtful problem-solving.

    This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.

    In California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $90,900.00 - $145,100.00 annually. This base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations.

In Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Minnesota, Nevada, Ohio, Rhode Island, and Vermont the standard base pay range for this role is $86,300.00 - $137,900.00 annually. The base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations.

    In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. Employees in this role will not be paid below the salary threshold for exempt employees in the state where they reside.

    Who you are

    • You bring strong expertise in finance business processes and the systems that support billing, payments, revenue, and financial operations.

    • You have deep experience with Zuora and know how to use it to support scalable, sustainable business processes.

    • You have experience working in enterprise-scale billing and revenue environments, ideally in organizations with evolving business models and operational complexity.

    • You are comfortable working across product, finance, and technical teams, and you communicate effectively with both business stakeholders and technical partners.

    • You can translate complex business problems into clear systems approaches and architectural recommendations.

    • You are effective in a senior individual contributor role, using collaboration and influence to drive progress and support strong decisions.

    • You bring sound judgment, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to navigate ambiguity in a thoughtful, practical way.

    • You have experience working in complex ERP or finance systems environments
