    Job Description

    The Manager, Social Media Engagement leads Allstate’s social engagement strategy—building brand affinity through meaningful, real-time interactions and opportunities in social culture. This role owns end-to-end engagement operations, turning social conversations into brand opportunities and safeguarding Allstate through effective monitoring, response and escalation.

    You’ll live in the conversation, build the systems behind it and lead our team to engage authentically with consumers.

    Responsibilities 

    Social Engagement Strategy and Operations 

    • Lead always-on, proactive engagement that meets consumers in cultural and brand moments  

    • Oversee community management and escalation workflows for reputational risks, protecting the brand in real time 

    • Guide the team to deliver authentic, on-brand interactions via scalable frameworks 

    • Serve as day-to-day partner to the in-house editorial team and creative agency to bring engagement to life 

     

    Technology & Platform Leadership 

    • Act as subject matter expert for Sprinklr across listening, engagement and reporting  

    • Leverage new technology to improve speed, quality and scale  

    • Ensure data quality and governance standards 

     

    Social Listening and Insights  

    • Mine opportunities using tools including Sprinklr, Plot and Meltwater  

    • Identify trends, risks and engagement moments to inform action  

    • Deliver clear, concise reporting on themes, insights and business impact 

     

    People Leadership 

    • Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team 

    • Foster accountability, strong judgment and a culture of continuous improvement 

     

    What We’re Looking For 
    Experience 

    • 5+ years of experience in social media-focused roles, particularly those that involved building a strong social community  

    • Handson experience with enterprise social platforms and listening tools; Sprinklr expertise required 

     

    Skills and Capabilities 

    • Strong understanding of social platforms, culture and reputation dynamics  

    • Ability to translate listening data into clear, actionable insights  

    • Strategic thinker with strong operational execution  

    • Clear, concise communicator and collaborative partner 

    • Curiosity and fluency in emerging social technologies

    Compensation

    Compensation offered for this role is 98,100.00 - 167,850.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
