    • Develop and document secure design patterns for microservices, APIs, containerized workloads, and serverless architectures

    • Establish security standards and reference architectures for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automated deployment pipelines

    AI & Data Security

    • Design and implement security controls for AI, machine learning, and generative AI platforms

    • Identify and mitigate risks related to data leakage, model poisoning, prompt injection, and AI supply chain vulnerabilities

    • Partner with data science and analytics teams to support secure model training, deployment, and governance

    • Help establish governance, monitoring, and controls for the responsible and secure use of enterprise AI

    Cloud Security & Secure Platforms

    • Design security architectures covering identity and access management, network segmentation, data protection, workload security, and monitoring

    • Build and socialize security patterns for Kubernetes, containers, APIs, and distributed systems

    • Collaborate with cloud and platform teams to ensure secure implementation of infrastructure and services

    DevSecOps & Secure Software Development

    • Integrate security throughout the CI/CD pipelines and the full software development lifecycle (SDLC)

    • Implement automated security controls including SAST, DAST, SCA, IaC scanning, container security, and runtime protections

    • Provide architectural guidance on secure coding, API security, and microservices security

    • Promote shift left and secure-by-design development practices

    Risk Management, Leadership & Collaboration

    • Conduct architecture reviews, threat modeling, and risk assessments for new and existing systems

    • Serve as a subject matter expert during security incidents affecting cloud or application environments

    • Mentor engineers and architects on secure architecture and engineering best practices
