    About the Role

    The Event Marketing Manager at Canary will be responsible for identifying, planning and executing events that will grow Canary’s brand and presence, with a primary focus in EMEA and APAC.

    This role involves both strategizing and managing events across different regions, and iterating on campaigns to engage customers and prospects before, during and after the event.

    Responsibilities
  1. Lead event strategy for EMEA and APAC
  2. Help drive demand generation goals by creating events that will drive leads and build pipeline
  3. Build project plans for events and workstreams
  4. Coordinate with third parties, including the event managers, contractors, etc.
  5. Build strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Product
  6. Support the team to exceed program targets including registration/attendance, engagement, customer growth, new business pipeline.
  7. Execute event logistics, including pre- and post-event marketing campaigns (email, SDR) and coordination
  8. Use best in class program technology, materials, systems, marketing, and event targeting to take each event to the next level
  9. Qualifications
  10. 5+ years of event marketing experience
  11. Driving demand to event programs at a B2B tech company is a plus
  12. Previous experience organizing events across different countries
  13. BA/BS, ideally in marketing, communications, PR, or other related field
  14. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with English proficiency
  15. Fluency in a second language is a bonus
  16. Detail oriented & organized with strong project management skills
  17. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with agreed-upon timelines
  18. Experience with Google Suite, Excel, and related technology systems
  19. Proactive self-starter
  20. Ability to travel up to 20%

    Target cash compensation ranges from €84,000 – €100,000, including a fixed annual salary and a performance-based bonus paid monthly.

    This role also includes a stock option grant, subject to board approval.

    Actual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's skill level, experience, and specific work location.
