You will work across the Order to Cash (O2C) ecosystem to ensure electronic connectivity, user access, and data pathways remain accurate, secure, and consistent. Your work includes maintaining business portals, coordinating EDI connections, and upholding the processes that keep essential commercial and operational information moving between teams and customers. As you grow in this position, you will deepen your understanding of O2C processes, data flows, and system interdependencies while contributing to the reliability, performance, and efficiency of the systems that underpin power‑sector operations. You will help build structure, reduce manual work through improved processes, and support teams across the organization with guidance that strengthens the quality and continuity of digital interactions.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Manage the timely setup and activation of new business portals and build standard procedures that guide these activities.
- Maintain accurate user access across required internal systems and customer‑facing portals, supporting onboarding and offboarding workflows.
- Coordinate the setup and maintenance of inbound and outbound EDI connections with customers to support O2C processes.
- Facilitate cross‑functional troubleshooting to address any EDI interruptions that affect data flow or business continuity.
- Maintain documentation for EDI partners, message types, setup requirements, and connection details.
- Create and refine SOPs, process maps, training guides, and other materials that support consistent execution.
- Identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and process improvements that enhance accuracy and reduce manual effort.
- Serve as a communication hub, supporting teams with training, troubleshooting, and guidance on portal and EDI topics.
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
Your Background
- Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related operational, systems, or O2C support field, as reflected in the job description’s requirement of 3–5 years of relevant experience.
- 3–5 years in an operational, systems, or O2C support role.
- Experience with user administration in enterprise systems or portals.
- Working knowledge of EDI operations, including connection setup, partner onboarding, and message flow coordination.
- Familiarity with O2C processes and the ability to understand data flows and system dependencies.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non‑technical users.
- Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to prioritize multiple tasks while supporting cross‑functional teams.
