    Employment Type: Full-Time

    About Sundae

Sundae operates in the real estate industry, supporting a network of local market operators through centralized technology, marketing, and operational infrastructure. Our systems connect lead generation, customer relationship management, communications, data analytics, and business operations to help our teams operate efficiently and effectively.

    Position Summary

Sundae is seeking a technically proficient, hands-on Director of Revenue Operations to oversee and continuously improve the technology systems that support our sales, marketing, and member operations.

This position is responsible for the administration, integration, automation, and reliability of the company's revenue technology infrastructure, including Salesforce, Zapier, Rill, smrtPhone, Twilio, DocuSign, and other business-critical platforms.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical execution with operational problem-solving skills. This individual must be comfortable working across multiple interconnected systems, troubleshooting complex issues, developing automations, and managing the technology setup for new market operators.

This is a highly hands-on role suited for someone who enjoys building and improving systems, takes ownership of technical challenges, and can work independently in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    Revenue Technology and Systems Management

    • Own the day-to-day administration, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Sundae's revenue technology ecosystem.
    • Manage Salesforce environments through LeftMain, including system configurations, integrations, deployments, and ongoing support.
    • Support the technical onboarding of new market operators, including Salesforce organization setup, standard package deployment, integration validation, and system testing.
    • Maintain and improve integrations between Salesforce, Rill, Zapier, smrtPhone, Twilio, and other connected platforms.
    • Troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.

    Automation and AI-Assisted Development

    • Leverage Codex and other AI-assisted development tools to configure, deploy, audit, and maintain technology solutions.
    • Build and maintain automated workflows that support lead distribution, notifications, customer communications, and operational processes.
    • Manage Zapier workflows for inbound leads originating from website forms, Google Ads, text messages, and phone calls.
    • Ensure accurate lead routing based on geographic territories and business rules.
    • Modify existing automations and develop new workflows as business requirements evolve.
    • Maintain standardized configurations and deployment processes across multiple market environments.

    CRM and Member Onboarding

    • Coordinate with LeftMain to establish new Salesforce organizations and obtain administrative access.
    • Configure and validate connections between Salesforce and Rill.
    • Deploy standardized Sundae configurations, update associated data models, and audit new environments for accuracy and consistency.
    • Test automated sales cadences, including SMS and email communications, to verify correct contact information, routing, and functionality.
    • Configure DocuSign templates using territory-specific agreements and standardized company branding.
    • Provide ongoing technical support and configuration changes for existing market operators.

    Data Infrastructure and Analytics

    • Support the administration and maintenance of Rill's data infrastructure, including raw data sources, staging models, and marketing attribution models.
    • Maintain reliable data integrations involving Google Ads, Salesforce, smrtPhone, First American data, and historical marketing lists.
    • Identify and resolve data quality, integration, and reporting issues.
    • Support accurate marketing attribution and reliable access to operational data.
    • Collaborate with business stakeholders to improve data consistency, visibility, and usability.

    Telecommunications and Lead Routing

    • Administer smrtPhone accounts and configurations across Sundae's network of market operators.
    • Configure inbound call routing, team member assignments, backup routing, and territory-specific call flows.
    • Maintain Twilio-based routing solutions for shared or split territories, including rotation logic and caller continuity.
    • Support corporate SMS initiatives and troubleshoot telecommunications issues.
    • Ensure inbound communications are accurately directed and operationally reliable.

    Business Systems Administration

    • Administer Google Workspace, including user provisioning, account deactivation, data backup, email groups, routing rules, and authorized email recovery.
    • Support Slack administration and user access.
    • Manage credential access and authentication workflows through 1Password.
    • Provide technical administration and support for DocuSign, YourVoice AI, and Sundae's website as business needs require.
    • Maintain appropriate access controls, documentation, and system administration practices.

    Process Improvement and Operational Support

    • Develop and maintain documentation for technical configurations, integrations, onboarding procedures, and recurring administrative processes.
    • Identify opportunities to reduce manual work through automation and system improvements.
    • Coordinate with external technology vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and implement changes.
    • Prioritize competing technical requests while maintaining the reliability of business-critical systems.
    • Recommend practical technology improvements that support scalability, efficiency, and business performance.

    Qualifications

    Required

    • Demonstrated experience administering and integrating multiple business technology platforms, preferably in a revenue operations, sales operations, marketing operations, or business systems environment.
    • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce administration, configuration, and CRM workflows.
    • Experience building and maintaining automations using Zapier or comparable integration platforms.
    • Experience with APIs, system integrations, data flows, and technical troubleshooting.
    • Ability to work with data infrastructure, data models, and reporting systems.
    • Experience administering business communication platforms, including telephony, SMS, or call-routing systems.
    • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and the ability to use them effectively for technical configuration, automation, and troubleshooting.
    • Strong documentation, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to independently execute technical work and manage multiple priorities with limited supervision.

    Preferred

    • Experience with Rill, smrtPhone, Twilio, DocuSign, and Google Workspace administration.
    • Experience with Codex or similar AI-assisted coding tools.
    • Knowledge of SQL, scripting, or other technical methods used to manage data and integrations.
    • Experience supporting multiple Salesforce organizations or multi-territory business operations.
    • Familiarity with digital marketing attribution, lead generation systems, and CRM-based sales cadences.
    • Experience in real estate, franchising, distributed sales organizations, or startup environments.

    What Success Looks Like

Success in this role means Sundae's revenue technology systems operate reliably, new market operators are onboarded efficiently, leads and communications reach the appropriate teams, and business-critical data remains accurate and accessible.

The successful candidate will take ownership of the technology environment, resolve issues proactively, and continuously identify ways to simplify processes, improve automation, and support business growth.
