SUMMARY/OBJECTIVES
Responsibilities for underwriting and review activities of all types of consumer loan products to include real estate secured loans in accordance with established bank guidelines, State and Federal regulations and Fair Lending practices. Communicates with originating Loan Officers requests for additional information, final loan decisions, recommends alternative loan structure and/or products. Provide lender support to include interpretation of bank loan policy and procedures.

• Underwrite consumer loans in accordance with established bank policies. Responsible for
approval decisions with respect to loans within his/her authority in a manner that consistently
balances risk/reward while producing growth in the consumer loan portfolio.
• Analyze tax returns and prepare cash flow analysis.
• Responsible for performing review of valuation methods to include tax assessments, appraisals
and Automated Valuation Models.
• Achieves production, turnaround time, credit quality and support/service established goals.
• Communicates final loan decisions and delivers any negative response in a positive,
professional manner.
• Provides lender support in areas of loan products, policy and procedure, loan structure and
pricing.
• Decisions miscellaneous credit requests to include modifications, renewals and subordinations.
• Performs a monthly credit review which includes the sampling of consumer mortgage loans for
documentation and credit underwriting in adherence to Bank loan policy guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• Education: Bachelors in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field preferred
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years consumer real estate and non-real estate secured loan
underwriting experience required. Centralized Underwriting experience preferred.
• Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal skills, great computer skills, ability to read, write, speak and
understand English
