    We are seeking a Salesforce Platform Manager capable of multi-team ownership at the enterprise level. Functions of those teams include platform development, platform administration, and escalated support. This role is responsible for ensuring platform reliability, rapid resolution of complex production issues, and strong governance across Salesforce development, administration, configuration, and integrations. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in high-impact enterprise environments

    The base salary range for this role is $140,000– $150,000 per year. This position is eligible for a discretionary performance‑based bonus. The exact bonus amount is not guaranteed and will vary based on individual performance, team results, and company performance. Actual pay will be determined by factors such as education, experience, and job-related skills relevant to the role.     Key Responsibilities:
  1. Project Development & Delivery
  2. Lead end-to-end Salesforce project development, from solution design through build, testing, and deployment.
  3. Define project scope, milestones, and success criteria in collaboration with business stakeholders and technical teams.
  4. Manage the full development lifecycle across Salesforce platform products, ensuring solutions align with organizational goals and Salesforce best practices.
  5. Oversee configuration, customization, and development activities including flows, Apex, Lightning Web Components, and declarative tooling.
  6. Platform Stability & Tier 3 Escalations
  7. Serve as the final escalation point for Salesforce-related production incidents, outages, and complex business-impacting issues.
  8. Lead deep root-cause investigations across: Salesforce configuration and automation , Role/security model issues , Data integrity and platform performance, Integration failures and API-related disruptions.
  9. Ensure platform uptime, stability, and operational resilience across all Salesforce functions.
  10. Incident Response & Operational Excellence
  11. Own Salesforce support operations including: Incident response and escalation management , Problem management and recurring issue reduction , Change management and release stability controls
  12. Lead post-incident reviews, ensuring corrective actions are implemented, tracked, and completed.
  13. Drive improvements to monitoring, alerting, and triage workflows to reduce downtime and support load.
  14. Salesforce Governance & Best Practices
  15. Establish and enforce platform governance standards across: Configuration management , Deployment controls, Environment strategy ,Security and access compliance.
  16. Ensure operational best practices for: Release coordination, Platform documentation , Audit readiness and system controls
  17. Promote a culture of prevention over reaction.
  18. Team Leadership - Lead and mentor Salesforce development engineers and administrators, setting clear expectations for ownership and execution.
  19. Coach teams on: Technical troubleshooting discipline, strong documentation habits, reliable escalation and response standards
  20. Partner with leadership on performance development, skills growth, and platform support maturity.
  21. Cross-functional Stakeholder Collaboration
  22. Partner closely with Business and Technology stakeholders to align platform support priorities
  23. Translate business-impacting issues into structured operational and technical action plans.
  24. Coordinate hotfixes, platform changes, and production releases to minimize disruption and risk.
  25. Continuous improvement & Platform Hardening
  26. Identify systemic platform weaknesses and lead initiatives to reduce operational risk and technical debt.
  27. Improve runbooks, knowledge sharing, and documentation across support teams.
  28. Evaluate tools and automation opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce manual support overhead.
  29. Support long-term Salesforce stability while enabling scalable enhancements.
  30. Qualifications:
  31. 5+ years of experience supporting Salesforce in production.
  32. Strong working knowledge of: o Salesforce development, administration ,and configuration
  33. Workflow automation, Flows, validation rules
  34. Role hierarchy, permissions, governance controls
  35. Integrations, APIs, and cross-system dependencies
  36. Proven experience leading and mentoring technical support or platform teams.
  37. Deep understanding of incident management, root-cause analysis, and operational reliability
  38. Salesforce certifications (Admin, Platform App Builder, Advanced Admin, or similar).
  39. Experience supporting mission-critical or revenue-impacting Salesforce environments.
  40. Familiarity with CI/CD release pipelines and Salesforce deployment tooling.
  41. Experience with monitoring, logging, and proactive alerting for SaaS platforms.
  42. Background in high-availability or regulated operational environments
  43. Calm, structured, and decisive.

  45. Excellent communicator across technical and non-technical audiences.
  46. Comfortable enforcing standards, governance, and accountability.
